Well that loss stung last night. Not happy with the decision to kick the FG but that can be discussed elsewhere  All in all there was a lot of improvement this year over last year and looking like they are trending upwards. If Walters can pull off another great draft and some more key FAs this offseason I like our chances going into 2017. Who is on the FA watch list and what areas are we in desperate need of fixing?

I think the Duron Carter signing makes sense in one light. The guy is like Milt* in that he'll get his thousand yards and his TDs no matter who is throwing the ball.  Carter could be a fantastic security blanket for a baby QB.  All he needs to do to succeed is be a good teammate and not say things that make his baby QB punch him.

* of course he is unlike Milt in just about every other way.

They took a step back last year had way too many blocked punts. 

Riders sign Kevin Glenn

Now, I don't wanna say I toldjaso..........but it just makes sense. Hate seeing him in green, 'cause I like the guy, but glad he found a starters gig. 

If they open the season with Glenn as #1 that's gotta be a pretty tough pill to swallow for Rider fans.  I can't see it happening.  More likely we see one of their young guys in for 4 losses to start the season and then Glenn takes over.

Well Glenn does give the Riders a QB. Will he last until the LDC?

Glenn is their undisputed #1 going in to the season. They're desperate....but he'll win 'em some games.

I just don't understand how Jones can justify going from Durant to Glenn.  You took one aging veteran and replaced him with a worse aging veteran.  Sure there are some cap savings but geez.

You're going to pay Glenn a lot less money to hold a clipboard than Durant.

Yeah that's what I'm getting at, I don't think Glenn is intended to be the starter

They need Glenn regardless, even if they get Franklin. I could see Jones still pursuing Franklin in a trade then releasing all their nobody quarterbacks.

Curious to what Rider Fans reactions would have been if the Riders would have traded Durant to the Bombers for Glenn at the trade deadline.

and here I thought KG was a last ditch effort signing by LDC to save the season,  not start the season.  I'll i can really say tho is lol.
