Would be a good move for him. HC jobs in the ncaa tend to be very plush, with much better job security and far greater control of the team. Not to mention college kids are generally easier to coach then pros. If he is canned and takes another job in the cfl this year he'd be an OC for sure. Short of a fantastic year as an OC he probably isnt high on the list to HC next year either. Going down to the ncaa for a couple years though could easily put him in a position to come back as a HC if he wanted. The right deal is probably more money to HC down their then OC up here too. Not uncommon across the league, including re-signing our own Matt Nichols. Better sign him, there are some on the Rider site which have already changed their avatar to Carter, even in his Als jersey.
