Bagg, Best, Clark, Crapigna, Demski, Francis, Gaydosh (if he's healthy??), St. John (he should be starting this year), Labatte, Muamba.

Kevin Francis was being used more on defense, not sure if he will be used this year. Riders need to scout OL OL OL OL OL during this years draft.

Crapigna doesn't count as one of your 7 starters...

Ainsworth/Gaydosh, Lue/Newman/Campbell as the last two?

Well ... you're certainly not going to start Demski AND Bagg, seen as how you have Roosevelt, Carter, Holley, Edwards and Collins on the roster. They aren't going to sit two of those guys.

Crapigna doesn't count towards your ratio.

Gaydosh, well ... good luck.

That leaves you with Best, Clark, Francis, St. John, Labatte, Muamba and Bagg.

Overall, not bad. But what happens when one of Best/Labatte goes down? Which they will.

We're counting injury prone 34 year old Chris Best who didn't play a game all of last year as a presumptive starter? Times are rough.

That NI depth looks more shallow than the Bombers had in say 2013.

That was the rumour at one time, that Milo would head south much like Steinauer did...I don't think Scott will make the same move as a sure position in the CFL will most likely happen....Can't see Argos keeping him if the rumour of what he said is true...Sounds like he wants to move along...As far as Barker getting the gate....did the owners just wake up and find out that they no longer have their first round pic (could've/would've) are missing an all star db (Heath) and have Willy to show for it...lol..Seems late in the day to pull the pin on Barker.

This move is done within a week after the Grey Cup is played. Not now. This is when the Argos should be hiring a GM & not firing him. It would have been better to leave things alone at this late date.

And people wonder why the Argos are contantly mocked as being a crappy organization.

You forgot Crompton, he could be in the mix if healthy.

Thats right too, if he was healthy he would be a decent way up the wish list for me.

How good is that line when it's healthy?  They were missing two canadian starters for a bunch of last year, that'd be tough sledding for any team.

(Except for Calgary, because apparently Hufnagel has a special lawn where starting-calibre CFL players grow like dandelions.)

I dont think they are that hot when healthy. And linemen take a bigger beating then any other position. Not being able to stay healthy on line is a huge red flag.

I think if Milanovich was to get fired, he would probably leave the CFL for the NCAA.

Would be a good move for him. HC jobs in the ncaa tend to be very plush, with much better job security and far greater control of the team. Not to mention college kids are generally easier to coach then pros.

If he is canned and takes another job in the cfl this year he'd be an OC for sure. Short of a fantastic year as an OC he probably isnt high on the list to HC next year either. Going down to the ncaa for a couple years though could easily put him in a position to come back as a HC if he wanted. The right deal is probably more money to HC down their then OC up here too.

Kickers don't count as starters so Crapinga is out. Gaydosh has played in the past two years. That leaves Bagg and Demski at Rec, Clark/Best/Labatte/JSJ on the OL (although one can argue JSJ is not ready to play tackle), Francis was a joke last year. Muamba is of course good. So you either go 2 NI at receiver and only 3 american receivers which seems a waste or go 4 on the OL with a guy not ready to play tackle and two injury concerns in Best and Labatte.

Come on guys, seriously?  Do you actually expect a Riders fan to know the rules AND count to 7 at the same time?  He's only off by one.  Give him some credit for at least getting close.

Close? Next you'll want to hand out participation ribbons. The Net is serious biz. :)

Hey, that's not being very nice to our banjo picking, cousin kissing friends to the west.  Think about it, 4 cups in how many seasons?  Rider fans thrive on participation medals.  They've got more of them than anyone!

No thanks.

The thought makes me shiver....but what does it take to keep a guy like that happy, Director of the JR. Glee Club?

Being kept out of the spotlight , not hard in this pathetic media market, but he is content with Austin being the point man for every major football decision.

So Jones is just musing about signing Carter.....Thought he was signed, sealed and delivered already by recent reports out of there...Could Carter be fielding a few calls from other interested parties..??? Don't see this as a done deal just yet

Could just be waiting for a chance to get Carter into town, for the dog-and-pony show that will follow. Not uncommon across the league, including re-signing our own Matt Nichols.

Better sign him, there are some on the Rider site which have already changed their avatar to Carter, even in his Als jersey. Thought that was weird.

Why Carter would even play for $130,000, doesn't make sense.  He'd be better taking a year off to fix his attitude and chase NFL dreams.

This explains why the Ringling Brothers Circus is closing, they realized they just can't compete with the Riders.
