Edmonton can ABSOLUTELY beat us (I'd go so far as to say could THUMP us) if the Bombers don't come out firing on all cylinders...
The 4-13 Elks are going to thump the first place team in the West coming off the bye, playing at home; with a chance to clinch the West? Wow we really are spoiled. The negativity lately on a team that’s likely going to win 13/14 games is crazy.

Win and we can rest next week. It’s that simple. No excuses not to come out after the bye and play with a sense of urgency. Hopefully nothing too serious with Schoen and we can give him three weeks to get better. That’s why we brought in a Kenny Lawler so he can step up in a situation like this. Still have a deep receiving core!

So Oliveria is now a few yards away from 1900 all purpose yards. Wow has he ever been good this season. He’s getting better every week, to me he should be the MOP he’s been absolutely rock solid, and seeing how he started last season to where he is now is just so impressive. The kid just craves greatness.

Due for a big game from 8! Should be able to move the ball against this D! Let’s just be a little more aggressive on D this week then last week

Plus numerous other horrible decisions throughout the game. He was brutal. If Dinwiddie had played poorly we would have won. He just had to protect the ball and not make multiple back-breaking brutal throws/decisions. And he did.
Receivers bailed him out for sure. A lot of 50/50 balls and saying 50/50 is being generous.

Dinwiddie played as well as could be expected. That loss, for the umpteen-millionth time, is not on him...
The bombers actually played great all things considered. With a healthy Kevin Glenn the Bombers win that game comfortably.

Meh.... that's to drive betting. Don't think the team sees that at bulletin board material at all.
Agreed. Them Being one point favourites at home is hardly bulletin board material. If playing for the season series and essentially wrapping up first place in the West isn’t motivation enough I think we have bigger issues.

I’m not suggesting anything. I’m genuinely curious. What am I missing because I don’t understand what he’s doing for our team that makes it better right now
Ok Mike you’re being coy because no one knows what a coach does on game day..

I mean, he doesn't call the plays, he doesn't seem to be an effective in-game tactician, he doesn't manage the roster properly, he doesn’t make solid choices with regards to taking the ball/field position, he doesn’t seem to be consistently getting the team ready to play … what DOES he do?
So what are you suggesting? Still first in west. Don’t get me wrong we’re a flawed team. But we got spoiled. We’re not going to walk through the league and win championships without push back. Do you remember life before O’Shea?

Serious question I’d love to see discussed here: what does Mike O’Shea actually do to contribute to this team on gameday right now?
What doesn’t he do? Just curious from your point of view

Dude we’ve been slapped by bad teams this year. Not just bc or Toronto type teams.
Who have we been slapped by? Besides the BC game where we returned the favour and then some?

And in Osh eyes all will be fine...and no changes will be made..par for course...he will have some smug comments with non answers...no media will challenge him either..and round and round we go...
Dude you need a break from the bombers. Teams are coming for us, we’re the litmus test. Even if we lose we’re first in the west.

I like how he says Hamilton has our number like we haven’t kicked their ass in back to back Grey cups. They beat us last year? Wow yeah sure has our number..

not sure how we will finish...but yes we have regressed as a team based on what we have seen....saying otherwise is not truly watching...never said that want us to lose....saying we are truly wasting a DA position....any denyiung that is sticking yer noodle in the dirt and not seeing it.
Who here says we are as good or dominate as last yr...let alone better?....nobody should be

The stats say we are better this year, do you not remember last year we had several games early on that could have gone either way but we managed to pull through, perhaps even undeservingly? I for one do not think the sky is falling. I’ll take this years O any day over last season. We have a better version of Brady, and Lawler.

Maybe we’ll see a pissed of Haba who plays so well they have no choice but to keep him on the roster. I don’t want to see this guy on the PR ever again.

Yep agree.
This off season will be the success indicator for the team going forward the next few years. We will have to move to younger guys and make the next Willy, biggie type of addition to remain competitive and focus on restocking our nis cupboard. And not with just sts guys.
Walters has done a masterful job over the years with the cap, something he really doesn’t get enough credit for.

I honestly think Agudosi has played himself off the roster. They won't cut him mid season, but I don't expect him back next year unless something dramatic happens.
Until there’s an injury. Let’s face it. He’s the 6th best receiver on this roster, he’s a good player and could be a down field threat which could be useful but he isn’t going to play over the guys we have now.

Sadly it's up to Zach as a leader, he's been on a bit of a roller-coaster this season, perhaps trying to do too much at times when he just needs to settle down and play smart football. I don't know if he feels challenged competing with another elite QB like Kelly in the league trying to steal his MOP crown, but his performance has been inconsistent. Having Harris in the backfield took some of the pressure off him to lead, maybe Brady can grab the bull by the horns and take charge when Zach is a bit slow off the mark.
He’s a gun slinger that’s what he does. He likes to push the ball down field, and moves around the pocket to create time. Most of the time it looks great, especially when his receivers are helping him make plays, sometimes he makes a bad play. Live by the sword, die by the sword, he’s not going to be a game managing QB and quite frankly I would never expect him to be.

I’m not saying take Edmonton lightly but Christ, if the boys can’t come out motivated after a bye to wrap up the west how do you think we’re going to win a grey cup.. I have full confidence that this team is going to take care of business on Saturday.
