    I’ve been defending O’Shea as much as possible but this move is just un excusable.  Very frustrated by this.

    Our short yardage package was so dominating last year. We were routinely getting 3-6 yards on our second/third and short that we could afford to keep the defense honest by going deep, but when we don’t have that same push we can’t always afford to be as aggressive.

    Fox in for Mcrae, as really...what did he do that was noticeable last game?....dont need him, and Parker can do all returns....and back up all the secondary spots.....If we feel the need to "start" Kramdi...again....well then we can run set after set of all imports...our best dlineman to create a lot of pressure, as it was apparent...under any type of pressure Dolegala couldn't hit broad side of a barn....With the Jeff's and the crappy rider oline having to contend with brutes Walker and Fox ...withsome Lawson and 5 to 6 reps for Jake all game long they will cave, and our db's and linebackers will feast....woudnt have to send max pressure and let guys run free underneath

    On offence as well...run some normal regular stuff....put the jumbo package on back burner for a bit, or used sparingly, and allow your playmakers to do what they do...make plays.....and I would test out sets with Eli at center...it's time....and the attitude he brings and the way he manhandles defensive lineman would do wonders all throughout our oline....since we lost Dejarlias and Couture up the middle..we lost some edge...as both were mean ornary buggers...Eli is prob even more ornary and will definately get under the skin of the undisciplined players

     

    thing is....the punter isnt helping them...time to also put away the lame sidewinding aussie stuf and start to pound the ball a bit with some hang time....and use the wierd punt here and there to keep teams off guard...what we doing now is not helping coverage teams at all....and whatother team with an Aussie punter do you see do that crap 90% of the time...not grace...not ballsack or whatever his name is in Sask....again....dumb coaching killing us

    Yeah I don’t know what happened to the ST but also when was the last time the Bombers tricked a fake punt or field goal? I know you can’t use it all the time but when O’Shea first came to the Bombers his ST gimmicks kept us in a lot of games, now we can’t cover kickoffs/punts, we don’t have a capable returner besides Grant, there’s no creativity, and really we’re quite lucky we were able to get Castillo because he’s been one of the few bright spots on ST, otherwise this unit as a whole has been very different then some point past O’Shea coached teams.

    Funny how the Rider fans have this weird obsession and conspiracy theory that the refs favour the Bombers for some reason. Almost every game day thread there they talk about it. Jealous much. But in all fairness when we had some lousy teams I know there was a lot of talk about how the refs were never on our side haha! Funny how that works.

    That o-line in 05 was absolutely horrible as well. Who knows what could have been. Getting Khan and St.Germaine in the disposal draft from Ottawa really helped turn around our offence the following season but that was tough to see Tee Martin just get smacked around on every play.

    Oh how far we have come!

    The Bombers did a few things that off season that would really shape the current culture that we have today. Taking the intern tag off of Walters and bringing in Danny Mac and Ted Goveia ended up being huge moves that paid off in the long term. I thought Walters getting Chris Randle and the 26th pick for the 24th pick was high way robbery. Randle was really a bright spot on some bad Bomber defences during those first couple of season of the current regime.

    In my opinion he’s getting better every single game; he’s always been a tough in between the tackles kind of runner but he’s been legitimately using his speed to beat guys now, I’ve never seen him so explosive. I always thought of him as Harris light, but he’s really paving his own legacy. He’s been great.

    A special shout out to @Jpan85for the tickets last night! Me and my new girl friend had a great time! Our first date was actually the 50-14 thumping of the Lions, and this was our second game in the stands together, we were really hoping for a back to back 50 burger but you can’t always get what you want 😉 we did however get tickets to the banjo bowl so expect another big blow out.

    But it's hilarious reading @lyin' guy cry on riderfans about how smug the bombers (including fans coaches and media) are. Like youre still 2nd place my guy no need to be jealous! Yeah Collaros threw 3 ints....but not 6. Maybe the bombers would have lost if he did?

    I love reading their game day threads, especially the wpg ones. So many ridiculous takes and salty tears. They're very big on CFL conspiracies to help the Bombers!! Lol. 

    He used to be a decent poster, I don’t know what’s going on with him but he has a very arrogant attitude. Like we get it the Lions we’re a joke for a couple of years and it’s great you have a competitive team but his constant need of validation from Rider fans is sickening.

    I would love to take my new girl friend!! We made plans to watch the game at my place and I’m going to BBQ for her which is perfectly fine but I most certainly wouldn’t say no to surprising her with game day tickets!
