  1. I'll be surprised if we don't bring in another kicker right before camp. I have no issue with Liegghio, his college career is certainly impressive, but at least for a little insurance it would be nice to have another camp leg.

As for the backup quarterback position. I tend to agree with TBurg on this one. I don't even like Jennings but there's something to be said for having some experience of any kind. In the early 2010s we left ourselves with Brink, Elliott, and Goltz after Buck Pierce got injured and two of those guys couldn't even throw a football.

  2. Picard gets a 6/10 for me. By which I mean I enjoyed it but I definitely didn't love it. Storyline was okay but drifts too far from the original feel of the utopian society and the relatively moral federation. I understand it's a different time now and the old TNG style wouldn't have worked but they strayed a little too far for me and also seemed to suffer from trying to cram too much content into too short of a time period which resulted in poor character development and interactions. Overall though I still welcome the return of Picard and the others from the TNG-Voyager era. Hoping we get a stronger plot and appearances from a few more fan favourites (glad they restrained from cramming ALL old characters into season one) if and when the second season drops.

Well. That was something.   Everyone loves the boneyard match. I didn’t.  And nice knowing you Goldberg.

I loved the boneyard match but only in the context of the current situation. The empty arena just weirds me out so it was nice to see something a little different. Was texting jokes back and forth during the whole thing but I did like it. It was the most noteworthy part of the night for me.

Goldberg... geez. Those matches gotta go.

  4. 1. Andrew Harris - Leader. Incredible. Man on a mission.

    2. Defensive line - fantastic across the board. Impossible to choose just one.

    3. Mike Jones - No better time to have the best game of your career. Love this guy. Fought all the way through this season from the practice roster to today.

HH to Richie Hall for defying all the doubters and coaching the best damn defence in the league.

Choosing the highest offer with no consideration of the situation and the odds of achieving success in a results driven business like football is the very definition of being a dummy.

If you believe in your abilities as a head coach then every situation has equal odds of achieving success. If you think O'Shea would be discouraged by walking into a tire-fire like the Argos then you really haven't been paying attention. If he can turn around the Bombers after 2009-2013 then he can handle any situation.

and we should be able to pay him the most...we don't have to pay for a canned coach..and I believe Hall is on a 1 year contract, so if we go a different direction there it won't cost us...And if Lapo leaves for a HC gig elsewhere..again it won't cost us...so if we get into a bit of a bidding war...we should be more than okay there

    Yeah I hope so.
