  1. Roster management is a little baffling... can't wrap my head around Maruo getting the start... however I would still take O'Shea over any coach in this league and it's not close. I'd go as far as to say he is untouchable for as long as he wants to continue coaching here. I don't think the conversation about moving on from him even starts until he has missed the playoffs two years in a row.

2007 basically when they started televising all games no blackouts.

Generations way different too.  I doubt the stadiums are ever packed and rocking week to week like they were in old stinky half barns.

True, not saying it's purely QB play. There are plenty of factors. It's just interesting to look back at the product then vs. now.

  3. I saw someone saying CFL attendance peaked in 2007.... Just as a curiosity, here were the starting QBs in 2007 versus today.... I don't think I'm just being nostalgic when I say those were the good old days....

    2007

Pierce, Burris, Ray, Joseph, Glenn, Allen, Maas, Calvillo

    2023

AdamsJr, Maier, Cornelius, Harris, Collaros, Kelly, BLM, Masoli, Fajardo

And now we're down BLM and Harris. It's just a bad situation for the whole league.

  4. Pizza Plagued Performance: Trevor Harris Throws 3 Interceptions Following Regina-Style Pizza Indulgence

    Article:

The Saskatchewan Roughriders' quarterback, Trevor Harris, faced a challenging game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, but his performance took an unexpected turn as he threw three interceptions, leaving fans bewildered. Rumors circulating among spectators suggest that Harris's ill-fated choice of indulging in Regina-style pizza prior to the game may have played a role in his subpar showing on the field.

Regina-style pizza, renowned for its thin crust and unique flavor combinations, is a local favorite that often tempts even the most disciplined palates. However, the greasy, heavy nature of this culinary delight might have taken its toll on Harris, leading to a lapse in his normally sharp decision-making skills.

The interceptions served as glaring reminders of the potential consequences of consuming heavy, high-calorie foods before physically demanding tasks. Such indulgences can leave individuals feeling sluggish and impact mental acuity, ultimately affecting their performance.
