Has MOS secretly been building a world in Minecraft?

The message eventually gets stale. Look at Mike Tomlin for example. Good head coach. Wins a Super Bowl in his second year, makes another two years later. After that.. no playoff wins in his last 8 seasons as head coach. Painfully mediocre in the fact they weren’t bad enough to tank but not good enough to be a contender. I see us in a similar boat. We’ll likely finish 8-10 or 9-9 and either make the playoffs or miss out narrowly and get told the same song and dance we’ve been getting since we lost in 2022.. next year will be different; we have a good core, just a couple of mistakes nothing drastic, maybe one or two moves to bring in a vet.. Miller built up a lot of good grace from the fans over the years, but even the most casual fan can see the steep decline year after year.

Yup. I think many of us thought the same thing going into TC. Too many decisions were pre-determined. 3 Canadian receivers was a starting point for failure on offence as an example. The downward spiral since 2022 that you mentioned should have been a wake up call.

Nothing wrong with Singer....the guy should have been in play earlier in the season....That goes back to coaching and as we are witnessing not good enough

bailey went through the same stint. it does happen and for a guy who started soo fast as a rookie it’s not surprising to see a drop off. Wilson hasn’t been good enough, but it’s not like we have a better option or like we should throw the baby out with the bath water. We should be bringing in guys and have competition for wr spots. That would help raises the over all level of play. The wrs have all struggled and some of that is the other failings of the offence making things worse. I’m not crazy about wilson, but he’s a very good player with a high ceiling. Hes been the worst of the imp wrs this year, but we have been starting 2 canadians who haven’t performed at all.

After this last game I'm really happy Brady signed a multi year deal. Because there's no chance he'd sign again if he were a FA after this season. The way Condell completely ignores him and just refuses to use him in the passing game...leaves me speechless. I just don't understand it. And by this point, there's no excuse I'm willing to accept. Condell can go coach a high school team.

Ans why Osh hasn't stepped in and said "wtf you doing here" or insist to make him more of the focal point...as he is the HC and in charge and at end of the day it's his team is also baffling and a sign of a guy with either no clue...no balls...or no ability to make tough decisions and or issue consequences....it's really weak to be honest yup...has compounded on us for 3...almost 4 yrs now and well...Interest is now due...in arrears really and we dont have ability to pay the piper

He's fumbled/dropped multiple TD's this season, cost the team points. He'd be a fine third option. We basically have decent 2-3-4 receivers, missing the top dog.

This would not be as potentially traumatic as it appears to be needing had this been done last season and even less so the season prior. The price for inattention keeps going up.

I don't get why we don't attempt a pass to Daniels every now and again. Daniels, MCI, Clercius and so on are essentially just pylons on the field in Bomber jerseys. No offensive output and our QB is sacked more often than potatoes being prepped for retail.

I still want to see how they look against a good team, but I do like this new goalie from Washington.... Colour me intrigued.

Yager and He seem to be lighting it up in the AHL so far - looking forward to both of those guys getting a chance at some point this year. Youngblood coming into the lineup is the only way this team gets better. Relying on the old guard is a recipe for failure.

I'm watching the game on Sportsnet+ online, as I've had to do many years now. I have to pay to watch the Jets, though if those Rogers a-holes increase the fee yet again next year I'm surging to another provider. Enough of this crap. Just like how TSN used to show the NFL games from England but now want to force you to sign up for TSN+ to watch them. It just never ends, always promising you content and then taking it away and forcing you onto yet another paid streaming service. /rant

Originally the Faj as well couldn't do squat from the pocket, most his success was all off script and sandlot tye plays...But he was given a chance and stuck with by a HC/OC who knew how to best use him...the kind of players to surround him with...and he bet our bumbling brain dead staff in the Grey Cup, and has his current team sitting in 1st Like I've said many times if you have the raw talent...complimentary metrics, you can play with the proper coaching and supporting staff...nd Perkins has more natural skill than the Faj. So we have the coaching chops and ability to craft adequate and diverse roster to compliment and augment...Hell to the no on that one Yeah he is the only one who really shows any signs of being a playmaker/difference maker on our defense outside of Smith and Griffin....I'd say Williams if he can clean up the occasional brain fart too....we need all the difference makers on defence we can get If that means in FA we have to go after the best pure returner available to make it work...then so be it....This positions and ratio requirements carved in stone no matter what cause thats what was successful over half a decade ago needs to be put in the trash And that's exactly the point, 2/3rds the way thru the 3rd was apparent we were not gonna win that game...was a perfect opportunity to change it up...Give Mtl a diff look and see what Perkins could muster....but nope

Unfortunately our record shows we're not Ottawa bad, but we're Ottawa bad. A couple tough breaks for Ottawa otherwise their record would be better. The Bombers seem to be a one quarter team and this past game against Montreal, that good quarter came in the first and was not as good as in the past. Seems if they stop Brady from running on a few plays, Condell gives up on the run and the rest of our game plan just flat out sucks. The O line is pretty much like a sieve, so even Alexander would have problems making reads with defenders in his face before he gets 2 steamboats out!

I agree and if this were me making the decision, I'd keep him as a returner .. for better or worse, the organization seems to be able to find serviceable DBs each year. A LEGITIMATE threat to turn the field around on special teams is much much harder to find. With the rule changes, will it matter as much? Who knows. Why? You put the guy out there that you believe gives you the best chance to win. You don't **** around because, "Hey, that kid has moxey! Let's give him a shot." The guy on our roster, right now, who gives us the best chance to win is Brown. If it's a blow out, or we're getting blown out, sure .. different story .. put in Perkins .. put in Elgersma .. and of the two, I'd rather see Elgersma get the reps.

I don't see how they can take him off defense. Sure he didn't win against Philpot. But no one has this year. The guy needs to be on the field more often than a punt and kick returns.

The problem with FIFO thinking is that if it is not pruned vigorously, it becomes an insular, siege, us-against-the-world-protect each-other mentality which rapidly deteriorates. I don't know football stratagems all that well, but I know people and dysfunctional groups, and this has become one of those.

Grabbing some fresh tin foil and making a hat... Maybe Brady isn't being used later in games because his injury is hampering him... Takes off hat, tries to flatten it, gets frustrated, makes it into a ball, and throws it out.

There was a time not long ago I arrogantly thought the Canadian maphia had real staying power. It's shocking watching our organization become so horrible. We are undisciplined, lack in fundamentals, and are unskilled. It's quite the trifecta.

He was the only new guy in pre season that stood out. So naturally they sit him during the regular season and not give him a chance until injury.

Twitter is full of awful, awful people. Willson always has a tone of "this player sucks and there are so many mistakes that would never be made in the NFL..." a lot of condescension, IMO...
