yup...but also some of the guys could have been good..hard to know as we clung onto old vets and marginal coaches favorites...I still stand on my opinion that Osh is a lousy evaluator of talent plain and simple...and the things he looks for and parlays to his scouting staff to find doesn't translate into elite players...maybe elite people and good guys...but you need more than good guys...and definitely need some thugs and just mean nasty guys...we have zero I not saying bad character guys before some get their panties in a twist...but some badass dudes....and a lot of times those dudes are great leaders and the team follows their way of playing...you can be badass and mean and still play within the rules I remember Ty Jones and to a lesser extent James WEST in warmups and before the game making a point of interacting and pissing off and dissing their opponents to th point they went right off their game trying to extract retribution and neglecting their assignments... and we feasted...

Yeah he’s never had the quick release. He’s always been a scramble/sling type of QB for better or worse. Not a knock per se, that’s just been his style.

I heard one analyst say he could play next year, but I think that's not realistic. He's eligible to stay in Sweden or play for the Moose I believe. 2027 is very plausible.

Saw one analysis that said he could be our 2C as early as 2027/28. Kind of flies in the face of the Jets preference to slowly develop but we'll see.

I'd rather not have Schoen back. I don't think he'll ever be the same.

Everybody got 3 year deals. It was Xmas in November to all. Let's keep Walters. Keep Osh. Keep The Trinity together. That was the refrain around here 7 months ago. How could we fire anyone? Fire them?? However, this is my team. I want them to win. I really hope they turn this thing around.... My confidence level isn't great that they will. BTW, i could have lived with 2 year deals. Not 3. There wasn't anyone in Bomber coaching & mgmt that deserved that long of a deal. Now, if things go south, we're hooped.

That was a frustrating loss - but we could have won - way too many mistakes. This is a coaching issue and a desire issue. I was really pissed off yesterday - so I did not post. We need some reality therapy - OSh and Walters are going nowhere this year. Both of them have earned some rope. But they need to step up. In the past - when faced with a great deal of adversity - the Trinity has stepped up. They need to again.

Out-scouted big time. Who was the last impact player we brought in via the neg list? Pokey, and to a lesser extent Woodbey and Cam Allen are the best players brought in by our American scouts in a 4 year period. That’s simply not even close to good enough. Right now, I’d say we have the worst scouting department in the league.

I love the Bjork pick, but just to clarify, Frondell is a Chicago prospect (played a handful of NHL games this year), Anton Lundell is the player Florida won’t trade. Easy to confuse. And Frondell is a good player, 2 years older than Bjork and oversizes Viggo at 6’1, 198. Frondell was also a 3rd OA pick.

So, instead of being fired, both Walters & Osh were given new 3 year fricking deals. Osh is here until the end of the 2028 season unless he resigns.

I know I'm stating the obvious here...but boy, does Trevor Harris ever get rid of the ball quick. On numerous plays, I've seen the pressure coming from Toronto...Harris either hits the hot inside route or throws the side screen. So why can't we do that? Why can't Collaros? Serious question...

I would have preferred that too but there werent several still available. It would have been either Verhoeff or Gustafsson (who would have been a reach at #8). No other D was picked until Lin at 21. Bjorck is small but fills a big need for the Jets so I'm not going to complain about the pick.

My OL analysis: We have a poor technical crew. Wallace, Eli, Broxton all try to maul and are over focused on their assignment in protection (man) over being in good position. That opens up gaps for blitzes. In being so focused on one block most of the time, they kick wider (Broxton) and open their hips which opens up rush lanes. They also lose their feet when they start driving guys in pass pro, can't adjust to blitz because of that and open hips. Want hips to be parallel to line of scrimamge to make a pocket, not leave rush lanes for blitz. Example: Wallace is over focused on DT rushing his outside gap (B for defense), opens his hips to work inside shoulder of that DT, he's driving that guy out but now Collaros backside A is wide open because Eli is doing the same thing on frontside A to the nose tackle. This is how you can have guys making a block but still blowing up pass plays in protection. Then your WIL/MAC/Safety is coming with a free run around those DL. This needs to be corrected because everyone obviously watches film and knows they can bait our guys into opening up the middle then come with a bit of a delay where their LB/safety might have a run read then flip to rushing depending on how many guys we leave in to block. I would like to see us running fewer man protections and more space eating zone style where they just take what comes to them instead of chasing blocks. They really have to beat the bad habits out of these guys by simplifying. Daniels is a mess in pass pro beyond plays where he is just chipping and leaking out. Bryant is struggling to keep his feet and handle speed. He is over compensating for this by kicking wide which also opens up that backside B gap repeatedly. Makes it very hard to build a consistent pocket, especially against a team that recognizes this weakness and blitzes....which is going to be everyone against us until there is significant improvement in how our OL plays/how we handle pressure.

The game was lost on the dumbasdogshit 2nd and 6 bomb to Nield play call. Just absolute garbage. Youve got the lead and the ball with 6 minutes left and you call a low percentage throw like that?!?! Throw a 5 yard pass and sneak for the 1st on third down. March the field and kick a field goal making Edmonton need a TD to win with very little time left. KILL THE CLOCK MORONS. Just a dogshit call by Condell/Collaros. Unbelieveble.

White scored a TD. He wasn't the problem. Here were the problems... Problem #1: The OL couldn't stop the blitz. Problem #2: Our wideouts are a joke & it's not funny one bit. They better bring in some receivers who can go after contested balls & stretch the field. Our scouting has become a joke. Problem #3: After shutting up TSN & taking away Justin Rankin as a threat in the second half, our defense couldn't make a stop late in the fourth quarter when we absolutely had to & give up a TD. Problem #4 Injuries: Ceresna hurt, no surprise. Onterrria Wilson also hurt. Neufeld hurt. Problem #5: Turnovers. Fumbles in the first half KILLED the team. We would have scored if Oliveira hadn't fumbled. Daniels trying to leap over a tackler forgot about holding onto the football. Problem #6: Coaching This team wasn't ready to play which is no excuse for a veteran team. Just a shitty performance.

Yeah I think a big part of this is Dinwiddie knowing he couldn't have the constant QB controversy. One of them had to go.
