I’d try to trade for Addison just as playoff insurance in case a WR or 2 get nicked up. He can do the stuff out of the backfield that Demski does and would be capable of covering any spot in the WR corps. Better than getting thinned out and having to use a guy like Corcoran in the playoffs.

The only players Ottawa would trade are aging vets that they are iffy about resigning or know they are unlikely to ,Mauldin fits that mold. Just to throw it out there what about a trade of the rights to Elgersma and our 1st round pick for Dru Brown. Crum has been more effective for them and less injured Also how good would a cdn qb look in the nations capital. And we would have a qb if that one more hit happens to ours

actually....Neuf can, and prob be a damn good center even at his age and a career extender for him...He has seen every front ever in the cfl so he'd have no issues making out the clls And in all honesty he has played really well all yr at guard...a few moments of wtf but that happens to any oline guy, and also chalk a lot of that up to with what was going on with our OC and system, and not to harp again but an actual center who could do the job, and both guards look worlds better too

If ZC keeps up the level of play he showed against Hamilton, the BBs will be tough to beat. I guess we have to cheer for Hamilton to beat Toronto next game in order to clinch a playoff/crossover spot.

I was just watching the condensed game highlights and if anyone wants a good laugh, on Vavals opening return the sideline ref totally falls hard. Just eats it. It’s pretty funny cuz on the replay they show the first thing you see is ref just biffing hard.

Sterns quickness and hands make him a good asset, Wheatfall, Wilson and Mitchell are all similar types of receivers so having Sterns in gives us a better mix. As far as Wheatfall vs Mitchell, Im torn but if healthy Wheatfall deserves the chance to be back in the lineup. Hate to see him lose his spot due to to that hit. Mitchell has shown some good hands but just not enough to displace Wheatfall

Sterns has been consistent despite people ragging on him. Not a great receiver but also a guy who hasn't dropped the easy ones thrown his way.

Shoutout to MOS and Hogan for pulling the Dillon Mitchell long con. Bench him for over a third of the season, involve him minimally when inserted into the roster and then in the stretch run when team's DCs have forgotten the guy is still a Bomber, you unleash the beast.

The last club to win a game with 3 or fewer completed passes came on September 24, 1975. That day Winnipeg was again involved when they were just 2-of-11 for 62 yards and yet defeated Hamilton 34-32. With Chuck Ealey at QB, Winnipeg rushed 54 times for 349 yards that day. Of Note: Hamilton went 3-for-12 in a 1974 game and won 11-10 over Ottawa. 8 Pass Attempts: Last week Winnipeg attempted just 8 passes for 54 yards and a 9.4 Rating. The last time that ANY CFL club tried as few as 8 pass attempts was by Winnipeg themselves on August 26, 1975 vs Calgary. That day behind QB Chuck Ealey they tried 8 passes completing 4 for 99 yards in a 25-22 win. That day they ran the ball 39 times for 237 yards.
