One less Braley team in the league

Or he could care less, but not very much.  Voodoo never did say how much.  Could just be a fraction.  Keep in mind 8,000,000,000/3 is also a fraction.  And that's a lot.  Which is also a parcel of land to build a house on.  Yet it isn't delivered by Canada Post.  Who are not a 4 x 4 piece of lumber vertically impaled into the ground.

English is the worst.

I had to read this 3 times to figure it out.

And rightfully so. Rogers has built his empire by being aggressive but also by ignoring customers once they were lured on board. They have been rated the worst telecom company for customer service for several years in a row. This has been like an infected tooth for the CFL that has finally been pulled, but like dentistry, not without pain.

I've been with Rogers for many years, but only because the only other option at the time was Telus, and I tried them and their network and service sucked even harder than Rogers, if that's possible. I should look at switching again. Anyone who poops on the CFL poops on me. And I don't like being pooped on.

You may wish to consider Koodo- we've been with them for 6 years and have had excellent coverage and service when needed.

Thanks for the tip.  Once the truth is known and it is indeed shown that Rogers is trying to kill the CFL, I am done.  No way am I supporting a business that has that kind of attitude.  NO WAY.

Plus Koodo has really funny commercials.

Isn't Koodo just owned by Telus? Telus are a bunch of assholes too, but but not as big as Rogers I suppose. Rogers are basically the devil.

My daughter's experience with both Telus and Rogers were epic bad. It made MTS seem OK and that is like a distortion of in the fabric of space time.

I've found that MTS customer service, has really improved lately. I recently had a few questions, which I got answered within a minute, with straightforward, fast, polite responses.  If that's typical, they've done a good job in the area.

and their Internet plan is good, unlimited downloads.

Mark...not really unlimited downloads....go over your subscription limit and there are extra charges. You can download as much as you want, just be prepared to pay extra for some subscriptions. Semantics.

And I give MTS a big thumbs up for using music from Manitoba musicians in their latest commercial.

I didn't realize till just this week, just how much better off Manitobans are for mobile options. My mom, bless her heart, is finally deciding she wants a smart phone. So she's asking me for advice, so I go to the MTS website to do some research. Well, holy Christ, the options!! Out here in the West, we get Bell and Telus jamming their bullshit in our face and it's "take it or leave it..." but MTS, you guys have a ton of options for data packages, amount of minutes you want, etc. What I really realized was that mom's gonna have a lot more "stuff" with her phone than I do, for less than I pay out here.

Uh, excuse me, we're trying to do some complaining over here!

As someone without the option of MTS I wish I could get them to give me a cell phone. Hell I'd take Sasktel as well. You guys are lucky, the big 3 have lower rates in MB because there is more competition from MTS.

Depending on where you live, Koodo may be an option. I am not hyping Koodo because I am getting anything out if it, but we have been with Rogers, MTS, and now Koodo, with Koodo being the best experience and fit. The Koodo website has coverage maps if you want to check them out. Might work for you.

Koodo and Telus are the same thing, only difference is you can get better phones from Telus. I'm on Telus because their coverage is the best in Alberta and I need the coverage in bum **** nowhere for work. Fact of the matter though is that in places like Manitoba and Saskatchewan where there is competition the big 3 companies have lower pricing and that just bugs the **** out of me. Governments built all the infrastructure these pirates use and now they bend us over a barrel and show us the 50 states when it comes to charging for using said infrastructure. I'm not a socialist at all but I'd love a government to go bust up that oligopoly.

If you live in any rural area you pretty much have to have MTS

This is no longer the case since Rogers and MTS got into bed together a few years back.  They share towers in Manitoba so wherever you get an MTS signal you'll get a Roger's signal now.

Was it not Bell who bought the controlling interest in MTS?

Neither Rogers nor Bell have a 'controlling interest' in MTS.
