I’m at camp today. First observation is DeShaan Dixon has the shortest shorts I’ve ever seen on a football player.

I'd also add the Brady is as much of a rec threat as he is a running one. I really hope he's utilized more in the passing game this year.

Well, one of the reason's TC is known for underutilizing the running game is because his RBs always have as many passing yards as they do rushing yards.

That said, I'd argue we're already using Brady too much in that regard. He's great as an outlet when you need it, but I'd rather get the ball in the hands of White, Wilson, and Demski if we're putting the ball in the air. Brady should not be anywhere near our #2 receiver by design.

I think it's probably safe to say at this point Eli will never start except in emergencies... He's 30 years old and never been more than a 6th OL.... If he didn't win the job out of camp when it was open then he's never going to.

honestly... if Collaros/Brady play like Nichols/Harris circa 18/19... that wouldn't be the worst thing for this offense... as long as we can still occasionally stretch the field..

I'll be at the game tomorrow somewhere behind the Bombers bench... and after last year fellas.... The **** that I saw from the Bombers at McMahon.... I'll be pleased if we aren't blown out at half time. A win would be a bonus. I swear last year was reminiscent of the 2010s era "Bombers-at-McMahon".

We're just missing Darvin Adams and Lawler

I want the ball in the hands of our best play makers. I don't care how it gets there. Brady makes **** happen whenever he has the ball, especially if it's in space.

Hey I was living in Calgary during the Kerwin Bell years. Some pretty tough games to sit through.

It’s not a slight on Brady, but if we want our offense to be successful, our best receivers need to catch the ball more than our RB. White, Wilson, and Demski should be some of our best players.

The last 2 years - when our O has taken a huge step back- Brady has been our #3 and #2 receiver. It looks great during awards season for him but it’s not helping us put up points.

Our O definitely needs what they call big plays. Definitely didn’t have enough of those last year. Also Zach needs to not make dumb throws and decisions. He does that at times tho. Brady ball should be all 4th quarter and ideally by then we already winning by 2 scores plus cuz the O has already scored a few TDs. They ain’t gonna run 30 times and pass 9 times this season tho.

There was only really a Kerwin Bell year...1999. He was toast pretty early in 2000.

And wasn't anything much in 1999, but I was really hoping...

I swear most games in 1999, Kerwin Bell would have 125 yards passing through 3 quarters and then would pile the numbers up in the 4th when we were down by 3 touchdowns.

Worst 5000 yard passing season ever.

White = Lawler and Neild = Adams... not in actual football abilities... but in concept... just crossing our fingers the "concept" works out

I thought White was more of an underneath guy rather then a deep threat double coverage kind of guy?

Not exactly underneath but yeah less of a jump ball/long radius guy. He’s good at finding open space and can stretch the field a little bit. I’d kind of compare him to Clarence Denmark.

I am not hung up on how many touches Brady O gets as a receiver, but I am hung up on the reasons why he may get so many touches. If his number is legit called out of the back field as a receiver because of something our OC is trying to do, or sees, I could care less how many touches he gets unless they are unproductive. However, if most of his touches are because he is the safety valve and our OL is not holding up or our receivers are not winning their routes then I agree with you. That is more or less what we saw last year and you are right that is problematic.

Tim White will break a big one a few times per season but mostly he's a high volume, 10-15 yards per catch kinda guy. I expect ZC to go to him early and often.

White can stretch a defence and also knows the open areas and how to get thm and where to go after the catch...he is real good with ball in hand

I agree...my fear tho...and based on history ZC will over use him and force a lot of balls to him when it's not there....ignoring open guys....and turning ball over. Hopefully he can keep his reliance on one guy to a minimum

Honestly pokey, white and demski isn't the worst group you can have.... they just gotta stay healthy. Probably see different guys stepping up in different games depending on what the other team's doing.

It's just the depth is pretty nonexistent

Solid top 3 for sure....Demski staying healthy is a concern...when has he of late?

Neild and Clercius are solid as u get for 2nd Canadian but we have zero business....none....starting 3, let alone have depth for it....that's a major concern....
