What like 15 years ago? Bulldog was a fine option when options were limited but the style has progressed since then.

Shut your pirate hooker mouth.... The Bulldog is an INCREDIBLE beer, to this day. I'll hear no negative remarks of the OGs.

When u look at our scheme at times we almost have a free and strong safety look in some sets

Lot of people forget...or maybe don't understand how good Parker is...we didn't hang on to him for 2 years when he was hurt a fair bit to be nice guys

For sure. In our quarters pack we essentially play it like fs/ss over the mid while the outside guys shadow the deepest route. The inside guys are the ones who make the harder switches and pick up what’s needed. And that was a lot of our 30/dime wil packs.

Parker is a lot like ba. The speed, physical presence, the iq. If he’s back to what he was and 100% it’s gonna be great to have him in the line up. I would’ve liked to see him play more in pre season but he may well have been rusty and in need of getting his game speed wind back. We have a lot of pieces to like in the secondary. More pieces than gaps. And that’s despite our ni cover guys being hurt. I expect our secondary to again be very good, and only get better as guys get healthy and smith/shay/ayers/jjones step into bigger roles.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Shay get more snaps in cover positions. Imagine having two proper lbers on the field and the 3rd guy to the box on the other side is shay.

TCB is more than solid... Lamplighter is up there with the Bulldog for best Amber jn the city. Tremendous. And wonderful pizza.

But man oh man... Summertime in the River City, give me a Juicii and a 'dog on the patio, and I am a happy camper....

The Master Angler Hazy IPA at TCB is great.

Juicii is my go to…. Love that beer.

The fact that it's 6.5% always sneaks up on me.

That or the Code Name: Ghost are my two favourite beers for a hot, sunny Winnipeg patio...

Codename Ghost lol what year is this

fun fact: it’s more or less the same beer, same guy created the recipe for both, CNG is the original and Juicii is the improved version that’s been tweaked and refined

let's be totally honest, most of the new IPAs these days are just dump a **** ton of hops in and make it taste like juice.

bring back more of the classic west coast IPAs I say. The hazy ones have their place, but too many beers these days are neglecting the malt aspect of a beer.

Taits follow up piece on Mitchell was pretty good. That and his play/involvement in packages stuff was much better than what we saw early in camp.

Hopefully he pulls it all together...as a compliment to Schoen he could be real good.

Look at the tackle numbers that Awe got...he'd be highest paid player in league by your metrics...now go look at him...and the others...where relative to l.o.s were they made...how many were after yards were gained....2nd downs converted...how many were for 0 yards...or lost yards...then get back to me...obviously you've never graded a football game

Who the eff is Marty York lol

Marty York was a former Sportsnet CFL guy for many years. His epically poor track record of making up rumors and hilariously poor prognosticating eventually embarrassed Sportsnet so much that they had to let him go. Not before he completely destroyed Sportsnet CFL coverage so badly that the company had to give it up almost entirely because of York destroying all credibility. He is EASILY the worst CFL journalist of all time.

If you want to sip on the resin from a 2x4, go to Home Depot.....

I am in complete agreement. The fascination with killing beer with hops these days is ruining beer. Hops should be a background flavor not smacking you in the head with every sip. A beautiful, smooth, well rounded malted barley with a hint of hops should be the goal...but it isn't. Now it's can you taste the pine and grapefruit.....well yea actually...it's all i can taste....for days afterwards. I actually had to stop drinking IPAs because of my gout. Hops are terrible for gout and nowadays the overwhelming hoppiness of the IPAs just sets it off.

Carlsburg Gold was another fav back in the day.I think it was Gold...was 6.5 percent so that was a draw

He mostly is gone. Not sure who gave him the time of day by retweeting his insanity.
