Huge 2 games for the Riders, we could crush their souls over these next 2 games.

Yes I just am trying to think of FBs I recognize name wise in both leagues and honestly none come to mind. I thought the position went pretty much the way of the dodo so to dress 2 seems ridiculous 

Last game I made a joke saying I think osh would play a make a wish kid if it was his wish. I wasn't serious but part of me thinks he would now. Hamstringing the roster cuz the guys like to see him out there for 3 plays a game

Actually for the first time in a decade plus last year the nfl saw a significant increase in the use and rostering of FBs. But they actually use them in regular offensive sets not as specialist subs for goal line only. 
 

parker in is great news. Hopefully we actually use him. 

I thought Action Jackson plays on the d-line also?

they put him out there for a few reps here and there...usually when game is in hand...and he's...well...to be frank...not good....slow off snap...poor snap anticipation and a lot of times just flat footed as Olineman are already out of stance and setting up

we lie to say how clueless Dicklesson is in Regina...and rightfully so, but at least he has the sense to have 8 rotational lineman...pretty much like most teams do, and uses the Nationalized American on both sides of the ball....Leaps and bounds ahead of what we do in that regard

Good thing their oline is crap...QB's are blehh....secondary is suspect and their receiving corp really scars nobody....no reason we should lose this game....and a win by less than 10 would be shocking...and in a not good way

And yet they are complaining over on the Rider site " why are they not dressing an extra DB instead of Hickson? "  good thing coaches don't give a damn what we think.

which makes our roster config even more madening....as looking around I cant see where either of them would be rostered on any other team, and if they were, would be a case of standing on sidelines all game....as emergency only...for as goos=d as we have been, we could be truly dominant

Cool. They have an 8 man DL rotation and they utilize the Nationalized American rule - but everything else sucks.

I'm sure that for some teams, if they need a full back, they just put in two half backs.  Math works out perfectly!

Just ran into Buck Pierce at the mall, had a good chat. Very nice guy.

Have Parker start at Sam and return. That’s means gmc can come off for haba next week. Take Jackson off for fox. swap maruo for Hansen. Bennett off for an ni like miller when healthy, till then maybe Murphy, or gauthier back in. Or maybe we get really lucky and ford comes back and he is the extra ni. 

Then on dl we rotate Jackson Willy Habba hansen fox walker Thomas and Lawson. Good luck playing that front when some one fresh is hitting you every snap and we put out 4 guys who can pin their ears back and get to the qb. 
 Our dl gets much better and deeper, our secondary does too, our depth across the board goes up and we don’t lose much of value. An imp fb for an ni, lose a gimmick touch guy we seldom use when we can put those touches in the hands of Demski Bailey etc. 

We need a separate thread for complaining about roster management rather than it being the same thing every week for this 9-2 team with the best offence and defence in the league.

Got a pic with Buck taken back when he was the starting QB.  Ran into him at his restaurant (I think it's closed now) and though I hated to bug him I went over and asked for a pic with my nephew and he immediately said yes and we went into the front entrance area and took some pics with him.  Years later same thing happened where I ran into Andrew Harris at the St. Vital Earls, and he also agreed immediately to a picture with me.  CFL'ers are the best!

Danny and Buck's was an awesome restaurant! Buck hosted trivia nights for a short while, and he was always smiling and happy to make time for fans. They had a really good Louisianna style fried chicken sandwich with hot sauce that put other restaurants to shame. I'd go get one rfn if I could.
