- Winnipeg ranks #2 in Scoring but #9 in Passing. NO CFL CLUB has ever led in scoring and finished last in Passing yards.

- Team with more T/Oss were 9-61 .129 in 2018 and 11-29 .275 in 2019.

- Teams with a superior 2nd Down Conversion rate are 41-9 in 2019 and thus have won 82% of the time.

- The 19 total kick return TDs are the most since 2010 (19) and are on pace for 30 which would break the record of 22 in 2004.

- The average punt return at 11.1 yards in 2019 is 2nd-highest in CFL history - the record is 11.3 yards set in 2016.

Two other fun bits of trivia:

Yo Murphy won a World Bowl title with Scotland in 1996 (was the game MVP to boot), won a Grey Cup with BC in 1994 and with Saskatchewan in 2007, and lost the Super Bowl with St. Louis in 2001 (and played in the XFL as well, only player to start in all 4 leagues and play in the WLAF/NFL/CFL title games)

Jackson Jeffcoat won the Grey Cup with Winnipeg in 2019, and does not have a Super Bowl ring but could easily inherit a pair. His dad Jim won 2 titles as a player with Dallas in 1992 and 1993.

He won't be just an NFL qb. He'll be both a receiver & a RB. He may run RPO in a package as a qb but that's it. 

You know what Strevs gave every bit of his ability to this franchise he deserves a long NFL career.

History says that he will be there a year, maybe two. The NFL chews up and spits out quarterbacks like sunflower seeds.

I fully expect Strev competing for QB1 for us in 2022 at the latest..NFL pay schematics will dictate that anyway and I bet he tires of his role and will wanna come back to be the man

As long as he develops as a passer in that time I would be good with this plan.
