I expect the green machine will be sending a variety of blitzes early and often, say 5 of the first 8  defensive  plays to test Streveler's metal ... we will see how Lapo has him prepped for that... Spy vs Spy scheming if you will

The real game I suspect (if Streveler is still standing) will be revealed in the second quarter when the two teams get down to business...

I  am anticipating Streveler will turn the ball over twice, costing us two scores. But I believe he is determined enough to get those two back with his own athleticism, by arm, by foot,  by eye, or by brain.

I am hoping by the third quarter the rookie comes into his own and the Bombers get the lead

Optimist that I am, I sadly expect the Mike Reilly show to take over in the 4th Q to grab the W

I think we have a chance because we will win the war of the trenches ....  the O-Line  is what makes a quarterback look good or bad ... gives them a chance to execute

Based on my observation of MOS, he will stick with his starting QB unless he goes into shell shock

The difference in the game will be between Reilly's long passes and Streveler's  bombs ... Edmonton's receivers may win that battle but we will see

Our short game to Harris and Bowman may not be enough to defeat the gunslingers

Bombers secondary stinks and this is how they will lose their games. To beat the Bombers all teams know you just go deep as often as you can.

Lots of positives in this one.

Bombers will be OK with Streveler in there. Definitely better than years past. 

May or may not win this one, but they will have good chances in the next 4 starts, considering who they play.

Not the way you want, but he is getting the experience, which will be useful late this season and next.

After 6 starts, bombers will have a backup with more starts than what most other teams have.

Bombers D is outclassed on this one, but lets hope they get very lucky and can hang on.

God, seeing MOS and that god damn **** eating grin of his after watching Hall et all lose another game for this club makes me sick. If MOS isn't willing to get a new DC he can **** right off too. Absolute trash.

Sometimes I wonder if Rod Black has ever watched football. 

We almost won a game that nobody really gave us a chance to be in let alone win.

Basically Bombers are a team with a decent but not great offence and a terrible defense.

Thus is how it has been for 3 years now and it looks like it will not be changing. Without Nichols or Streveler scoring 40 points a game, I dont see this team getting above 4th place in west.

Given rhe lack of a respectable defense, if Nichols is out for long, I stand by the 4 and 14 prediction.

The good news is Hall is one game closer to being fired.
