What an embarrassing, utterly disgraceful moment for this country. A bunch of deranged, hysterical narcissists disrupting a city because they're scared, misinformed, and ignorant, pretending they've been oppressed because of a public health emergency.

Waving Gadsen, Confederate, Nazi, Blue Line, F*ck Trudeau flags; urinating on the war memorial; harassing employees and patrons at a soup kitchen; throwing beer cans at media members; threatening elected officials. And that's only the **** we've heard of thus far. **** the "few bad apples" nonsense with this petulant, nonsensical protest. You're all complicit in this pathetic display that's nothing more than a tantrum by entitled oxygen thieves. Shame on all of you.

And most of all: shame on Brian Peckford. What an opportunistic dummy, trying to sue the feds and propping up his stance because he "helped" draft the Charter.

I often mock the U.S. for having Trumpy Republicans, who are mainly disgusting people.  Turns out I should shut my mouth.  Canada has their fair share of horrible people.

So Wisconsin Republican senator Ron Johnson put out a pointedly worded poll on Twitter. Needless to say it didn’t work out like he would have hoped. And of all the shade thrown his way, this response won the day.

I would like to ask each Republican in the Senate, why do you oppose voting rights legislation?  Force them to put on the public record why they oppose  voting rights for all U.S. citizens.  Would they vote against  the Civil Rights and Voting Rights acts of the 1960’s?

People always want to retire guys with their own feelings.

He has said he feels great and wants to keep playing.

He wants to win another Grey Cup I am sure.

This tells me he’s considering it.  Maybe he’s made some comments post GC but I didn’t see anything saying he wants to keep playing and is feeling great (unless I missed it).

Not sure why the outstanding Canadian gets half of what the MVP gets.  In 1984 the MVP and Richard Suderman award winners both received brand new Chrysler Cordobas, with rich Corinthian leather interiors.

“l know what your fantasy is boss… you want to tie women up with rich Corinthian leather and spread coffee beans all over their body…” John Candy as Tattoo on SCtV’s parody of Fantasy Island

  5. I had been so conditioned to losing over the years since 1990 that I couldn’t believe it in 2019.  In 2021 it felt more real to me because of the great regular season and coming through adversity in the playoffs.

Golden era indeed.  Great players, great coach, great management.

I remember on the Rider site when they hired Chris Jones and he was going to lead them to multiple GCs and O’Shea and Walters would lead the Bombers to years of mediocrity.  Well how does that look now?

Well that didn't take long, enjoy the 15 minutes kid

This kid said he wanted to live a quiet life.  Not exactly the way to do it.

I shudder to think if that Georgia jury acquits the defendants in the Ahmaud Arbery case, there will be guaranteed violent protests.  It will also be further proof that America does not have a justice system for people of colour.  They have to convict at least 2 of the defendants (father & son) and maybe a lesser charge for the 3rd neighbour who filmed the incident.

Well, we found out about our backup qbs & the analysis isn't good. I can cut some slack to Dru Brown as he's a true rookie but Sean McGuire played very badly last week. For a guy who has been here 2 seasons, I expected a lot more. Red flags should be raised here. I hope both McGuire & Brown don't see the field other than short yardage from this point on & we actually sign a veteran qb in the off season who gives us a chance to win when he plays.

Plenty of good CFL QBs have had terrible games to start their career.  Learning the CFL game takes experience and is often a painful process.  Sask looked terrible with Harker playing and he has some game experience too.  Other CFL teams are no better off than the Bombers with respect to backup QBs.
