  1. If people get a chance they should read the NY courts 33 page ruling on the suspension of Rudy Guiliani’s law license.  Very well documented evidence of Rudy Colludy’s staggering level of lies and unsupported claims of election fraud.  Hopefully this leads to permanent disbarment and adds to the charges he is already facing.  Frankly damn near everyone in Trump’s orbit needs jail time or never be allowed in politics again.

Love and hate the Dobson pick....but closer to loving it. He is a bluechipper. Best OL in the drsft and has a mean streak a mile long. I dont mind taking the futures approach to the 1st 2 rounds.

I suspect it’s Patty Nuefelds  last year in football in 2021 so Dobson should have an opening in 22 after college.

  3. A recent poll by Economist/YouGov contained a telling and troubling piece of data. The poll asked respondents to consider, "Which comes closest to your view?"

Here were the two very different options:

    1. "Our lives are threatened by terrorists, criminals, and illegal immigrants and our priority should be to protect ourselves."

    2. "It's a big, beautiful world, mostly full of good people, and we must find a way to embrace each other and not allow ourselves to become isolated."

Most Independents and Democrats selected Choice #2. But among GOP respondents, most picked #1. And among Trump voters specifically, fully two-thirds chose the first, darker option.

I think this is says a lot and frankly isn’t surprising.  MAGAs and Republicans lean to authoritarian leaders.

I hope they go with “elements” because then you could have all sorts of fun with that. Because like the element hydrogen they are full of hot air, like zirconium they have an overinflated and phony sense of value, and like sulfur they stink.

I still like my original suggestion: Edmonton Extensional .  I can't quite put my finger on why it works, though.

Wow - I always believed they would get the deal done.  Sure sounds like Toronto was deadweight and Ambrosie was unrealistic.  What a bummer.

Not that I was 100% expecting this but I was bracing myself for CFL cancellation.  The hub thing never made sense to me for the CFL.

  6. Considering the Bombers had no real chance at Mason Bennett, I’m pretty happy with this draft. Hallett is a potential starting safety down the road and we did need some national depth at receiver.  Drafting a kicker is fine too as I think this may be Medlock’s last year.

Forward pass my ass, he was tucking that ball when he lost it not throwing it.

But that's not what gets me about the reffing. The riders were taking cheap shots after the whistle all game and never once got a flag.

That’s the way I saw it.  Fajardo looked to be pulling the ball down as he was being hit.  But agree with other posters, that play will be called incomplete 99% of the time.

Having been at that 1972 Western Final, it took 47 years, but I’ve finally put that ghost to rest.

    it feels really great!

Ticats are an incredible team this year, and I hope the Bombers win, but having said that, if it doesn’t happen, losing to Hamilton won’t hurt nearly as much as losing to the Riders would have.

I had to listen to the 72 western final on radio.  I was very confused by the punting contest at the end.  Pain is now erased.

Hamilton will be tough and rightfully favoured.  Sometimes upsets happen, though.
