I am going to weep when looking at that list. Once had Labatte and could have gotten Jones with our 2ND ROUND pick. I used to defend mack for his drafts but I'm becoming less forgiving over time. Hindsight is a beautiful thing.

I'm surprised the Bombers managed to get 4 on that list. Not a lot of RB depth in the East this year. And Edem on the team stings.

Just checked my Twitter feed ... apparently the permit Bilukidi had to work with the Raiders is non-transferable. Has to re-apply and then can sign.
How long is the re-apply process?
And will they wait for him or sign someone else?
Well, they just signed Kheeston Randall who was a 7th rounder in 2012 so I'm guessing they're NOT going to wait.
On Cinci's website Randall is listed on their roster and Bilukidi is not so I guess he's still available.

I agree. Regardless of what the Bomber brass really thinks of him, it would be a PR nightmare if Burke was retained. His firing will be the first move in attempting to remove the stain of the 2013 season.

Mulumba is playing for Green Bay. What a wasted pick that was...
In hindsight, yes. But let's be fair. Mulumba was an undrafted FA and was a long shot to make the Packers roster.

Bombers belong in the west. That's where they were when I watched as a kid and moving to the east never felt right.

When kooking at Macks overall w/l record, yes. Macks drafting was more successful than other gms (more of his picks on the roster). He may be considered a failure but there sre positives to build on.Plan did not work that's all I know.

I really have no idea who is responsible for what with the Bombers.Nobody is doing their job, it seems.
My brother was listening to the coaches show last night and the coaches have been anxious to see Hall. Goltz wss having accuracy issues because of footwork. Lends creedence to the theory that Goltz was Mack's guy. If so he shouldn't have been dictating who plays and who doesn't.

I really don't know what to think of this team anymore. I hope to god that Miller isn't making any Of these play or not play decisions. That's up to the coaching staff. I don't blame Goltz at all.You see? You see what happens when you fire the GM midseason? You throw the entire rest of the year and next year into the toilet completely. All for the price of millions of dollars in salaries for people to not work for you and empty seats in the stadium.

Fine but changing regimes every 3-4 years hasn't got us any closer to the GC either. I understand his record is the bottom line but I would have at least to the end of the season. If we didn't make the POs then can him. Canning him now doesn't do us any good in 2013, IMO.One stat I found was that before Joe Mack we had a losing record. With Joe Mack we had a losing record.

Well at least Buchko got canned. Some of the problems weren't caused by him but he did aterrible job of communicating properly.I like Miller as a replacement. I can see firing Mack but I would prefer to wait until seasons end. I don't see how firing Mack now saves the season.

I just can't agree with the timing of this. After the season if we continue to suck, sure. Don't see how this improves the team enough to make the playoffs this year.

I'm going to give this site a try. I realize there was some issue that caused users from OurBombers to start up this site and I'm not interested in discussing that at all.
This is a little tough for me as I'm a very loyal person but I'm getting very disapointed with the constant negativity on OB.
Ther are some excellent posters that I learned a lot from on OB that are here now so I'm excited to keep in contact with those people.
