Funny story: My soon to be father in law lives in Winnipeg, he wants my fiancé and I to come out for the Banjo Bowl. He’s obviously a huge Bombers fan, and says if the Riders keep the loss to 20 points, dinner is on him! My fiancé isn’t a huge football fan, so she says she wants free dinner regardless.

I’m hoping we can make it out, fiancé is in school, so it makes it tougher. But flying Calgary to Winnipeg might not be too tough.

Your prospective father-in-law is a wise man.  Being a Bomber fan offers a huge advantage in life, so i would listen to him whenever he offers advice.

Lots of things went wrong that drive. Absurdly soft coverage by both corners allowed Crum to play pitch and catch on that series, and Bighill's absolute comical whiff at the 10 yard line (or so) on Crum were brutal. I just think blaming that game as a whole on roster management when you consider everything that happened that game, IMO, is an extreme exaggeration.

Time and time again, O'Shea preaches execution. If we do our job and execute, the game isn't close.

I agree.  The roster management complaint is a minor issue, a mountain out of a molehill, IMO. I understand why the detractors have concerns but they are blowing it out of proportion.

This is my worry. That we've peaked and while still good and capable of winning it all, the glory days are behind us and that MOS will be too loyal to the vets.

I agree.  I was hoping Thomas and Neufeld  would have retired before this season.  Paddy May yet replaced before the season finishes if he keeps up with his current level of play.

HH: Holm - other than the TD he was like glue covering receivers last night.  Appears to be a massive improvement for him.

I have to admit though that if Bo was more accurate it could have been trouble for the D.  I’m curious to see if he can get more in sync with his WRs as the season progresses or if his decline is this apparent.

  5. Trump about to get indicted by special counsel Jack Smith.  Apparently Mark meadows flipped and plead to lesser offences with limited immunity.  Justice May finally be served!

That fat slop and former Trump bootlicker Chris Christie has had his come to Jesus moment and is trying to make everyone forget how much he enabled Trump and all the crazy **** that is going on in politics.

True, but he appears to be the only candidate now willing to call out Trump directly on his BS (both past and present).  I at least welcome the chaos Christie’s candidacy causes the GOP.

Trump wasn't the rating winner CNN hoped he would be, and Anderson Cooper saying you have to hear both sides was incredibly weak and towing the party line. You put a disgraced loser on prime time with a bunch of idiots hooting a hollering for one reason alone because CNN has been buried in the ratings for so long you are grasping for anything even the guy who called you fake news over and over and over. Sad

What I would have preferred is Trump being interviewed by one journalist in an isolated setting.  Mehdi Hassan would not have let Trump get away with his BS.  That “town hall” environment played perfectly into Trumps hands.  However, I don’t think he attracted any new voters.  He was just appealing to his base.
