On a positive note: Sam Hurl led the team in tackles. I'm sure they will draw strength from that, and come back stronger, faster, and more confident next week against the Tabbies.

Alexander didnt practice today. Sayles was on the field in his place.
They say that Sayles is a thoroughly violent man....I want to see it happen.

Re-watched the game. Muamba submarined Lafrance near the end of the game with a hit that looked worse than the knee-hit laid on Harris.

I doubt there are many here who would cheer when a player from another team gets hurt. Especially when it is a head injury. No one said. "LOL Collaros. You're hurt, ha, ha, ha". What people are enjoying is watching the Rider fanbase & the team itself taking some smack being shot back at them. The Riders may not be as good as they think & the arrogance shown by that tweet... No other team would ever do that. I don't take any joy seeing Zach Collaros suffer thru another concussion. But it doesn't mean I don't enjoy seeing the Riders & their fans suffer instead.
Coach Jones' indifference to shoring up his O Line during the off-season is what makes me grin...not ZC's injury.

Not just Canadian depth but Canadian depth at skill positions. Any old idiot can load up a roster with a buncha fat guys from Weyburn.

- Streveler - Great game and not just for a rookie QB
- Harris - Heart and soul of the team
- Adams - When a receiver throws for a TD, they have to be one of the 3 stars
HH - Simonise - Blocked punt and a beauty of a deep catch
I haven't re-watched the block, but when I saw it the first time it looked like he wasn't even extending his arms. Regardless; he was sure happy about the outcome.

A savvy vet like Dressler will always have value as long as his physical chops are still there. His relationship with Lapo/Nichols means that there are any number of packages built around him that we have yet to see so far.
On a related note, I'm already super happy to have seen them fake the jet sweep on more than one occasion this year.

Sure, he could join Darvin Adams, then we would just have to get Morticia, Gomez and Lurch and the set would be complete..😜

I just wanted to pop on here quickly and let you know there IS help for that. You really don't have to live this way. I've spent the last couple months in a deep dive into mental illness, depression and anxiety. There's meds and there's therapy....and it WORKS....trust me. You don't have to live that way....
Carry on...
Be well

Bobby Gorgeous! Good choice.
Not a good choice. He finished his career ranked 11th on the team’s all-time receiving list. 0 all-Canadian nods. Plenty more deserving choices in my opinion.

Meh i wouldn't get to over excited about these guys... they were playing against complete scrubs.
The only takeaways is that White will make the team and that Ross better do something next week because 1/8 against scrubs is not a good first look.
Not all scrubs.
As per John Hodge @ 3DN: "Tommie Draheim and Kelvin Palmer, both of whom have started meaningful games in the CFL, struggled mightily against the Bombers’ pass rushing trio of Jackson Jeffcoat, Craig Roh, and Tristan Okpalaugo.

I'm hoping that Dressler is asked what he thinks of his pal leaving the BB in the lurch. As much as anything, Durant ****** his future teammates more than anyone else.

not too surprising. funny weve talked about him for soo many years on here now we got him haha. the best potential of any one left by a mile so its not too surprising. Not exactly the typical character guy we go for though.

I've seen two pics of Finch post arrest. One has his left eye still open and then there's this one with the purple bacon. I love me some time lapse.

Calling it, Muamba will be a midseason injury replacement for some team for inflated dough this season and he'll be a free agent again this time next year.
(as a predictor, I am so wrong so often about so much that all I can do is use this power to get Blue the middle linebacker that'll put 'em over the top)
Since they were allegedly dark horses in the Muamba sweepstakes anyway, the recent termination of Euclid Cummings might free up the dough necessary for the Lions to go hard after Henoc.

I predict a tepid back and forth affair with a 62 yrd Medlock FG for the win.
