Did either of you see Mastadon and Opeth a couple years back? I missed it... still kicking myself... if I had to choose only one metal band to listen to the rest of my life, it would be Opeth... and it's not even close.

Threads don't get closed for football discussion. They get closed when people move away from that and start throwing insults back and forth.

He did, but he kept breaking, Willy just doesn't break. He gets hurt, but he stays in the line up.

I was feeling pretty shitty about myself when I went 1-3 in the Pick 'Ems.
 
Then I felt a shame I can't describe when my wife beat my ass this week in the TSN Fantasy scores.
 
I take solace knowing that she beat the rest of you as well Congrats, BomberBug, on placing #1 in the MBB pool this week and 99th overall country wide.

After the Jets left I became an Ottawa fan.
 
In my defense, I was young and stupid, and the black jerseys spoke to my budding teenage angst. At least I had one 'good' season of fandom when the Sens and Bombers both went to the Cup in '07. Sadly, neither team could make it happen in the end. My personal championship drought continues...

Things started ok, in first quarter.....

...Bad snap...another gift Safety....
Then a long BC drive puts them up 15-3.....
Glenn had a nice 3 quarters.....
....while Blue were loading up against the run
Willy goes down, before the half......
...might as well been 150-3....
As Brohm accomplished nothing, in 2nd half...
...with nobody doing anything around him, as well.......
Bomber D shut the Lions down in the 3rd.....
...while Bomber O continued its ineptitude.....
175 yards in O....  is not going to cut it...
Grigsby kept going down on first contact.....
Receivers struggled to get open....
Some strange play calls  on O, as well...
Romby took a major penalty ....and just took up space, otherwise....
Hard to run hitch passes, when nobody blocks.....
Can't block on screens, either....
Not having a backup snapper......black mark....
D reverted back to the ole matador run tackling again, late
This team simply lacks jam..... on both sides on the line of scrimmage

Agreed. Our complaining is what raised his game.

My favorite part of this play is how Willy used the umpire as a downfield blocker on that play, it looked very deliberate the way he made the last cut before hitting the endzone.

This is continual whining and BS and I freaking hope someone from the Bombers tells them to stuff it.
 
Have you guys ever walked by the group of them at camp or practice?  They talk amongst themselves, check their phones...and occasionally turn their heads to the field.  Better yet, when they do pay attention, half of them aren't able to understand exactly what's going on.  I get better reports from MBBers.

I got a kick out of the sentence "That's no small caveat, given the Bombers are holding those stealth workouts in a $210-million stadium that was paid for in large part by taxpayer funds." Thats like saying my tax dollars fund the provincial gov't so I should be able to walk into the Leg anytime I want.

I should hope he leads the league! He's played more games than any other running back. He leads the league in the same way he got the starting job in the first place, everyone else got hurt.
