What are we at, 4 100+ yard drives against so far this season? Not much credit going to come from me. I'd rather gamble on making some plays on D and give up a 100 yard TD than give up 12 play drive for 100 yards. We're playing the wrong style in this current era IMO.

IMO, and I've said this since last year, Alexander is 1a/1b Best QB In The League with Rourke. He just always gets hurt. But when healthy, he's as good as there is in this league right now.

damn, Davis Alexander is playing some fine football right now. That red zone throw he made back into the middle while sprinting right was ludicrous. Hit his guy right in the hands with a soft pass. Made Lapo woop. I hope he's not hurt again. CFL needs guys like that to stay on the field.

I had no issue with the Daniels fumble...it happens and he was trying to make things happen so I am sure he will focus on ball security more, and I like the fact we actually used him somewhat and made teams now see him as a viable option

12-141-2 in two games. 11-97-0 in twenty-one games. If we're going to go with 3 NI receivers, it would have made sense to draft another this year. Top numbers are for Nick Cenecle whom we could have drafted. Bottom is for Corcoran. Walters messed up.

All he does is produce at the highest level and win. Kid is crazy good. Philpott, Alexander, and Rankin could smash records this year. And the KRs in the league are going wild too. Vaval, Grant, McAllister, Pimpleton it could be the year of the return man. This start to the year should have the league thinking over some of the changes for next year.

You see where the problem lies... when we were winning grey cups guys like Kramdi were depth, now that not only is he a starter, he's seen as a top half of our Canadian starters it's an issue. I don't dislike the guy and I see the value he brings to the team and having him start is not the biggest issue... but he's gotta be seen as a weaker starter not one of the better options.

Easy fix...Roll with Eli at center...Neuf and Wallace....an you can easily add an import reciever....An import reciever gives more bang for the buck than the 3rd import Olineman and if you weigh both...the reciever makes our offence better...Its not like Elsbury is this allstar who us just dominating....And Eli was more than fine...and will be even better with Neuf That and drop one of Jones and Wilson and again you can add a more productive player...be it another DB to keep Kelly off the field (We would be better off as well with Vavl doing his role) but seems our brains trust calling the game day shots are too terrified to do that in case of injury...stop coaching scared and coach to win...and with that goes the smart move to use Singer as a 3rd import receiver and backup returner if required...but we have a dunce as a coach...And if we keep Cobb on roster he as well can be used in a pinch and wont kill us. Corcoran is pointless and useless other than his piss poor contribution to our offence Look at our bottom 3..4 on roster...Boulaine..Stuart...Kelly...Pooching all 3 and adding Peterson, Oyelola would make us better. The rookie Clark being hurt...hurts as he was killing it, But replacing the first 2 and then Kelly with Clark when back...none would be missed Sadly our PR is such a crap construction we have no other real options to get rid of under performing Canadians And the fact we dont have a viable DT ..or even Tweener guy of any usefulness to come in if Ceresna is not able to go...Just screams for the re-instatement of 10 times cut Kirny to gobble up lotsa reps and basically just make us weak as hell up the middle

From my perspective the alignment they are starting with at linebacker is pretty useless. The whole middle area of the D is just not there. It seemed 2nd half last time to my untrained eye jones was back in the middle and smith playing the outside and it got better... probably need to go with that. Hell if linebackers are going to be a liability be a liability with Smith and shay and stop using Canadians elsewhere when an american would be better. Can't tell me we wouldn't be better off with another american receiver or db getting work over corcoran or kelly.

We need another stud IMP receiver one that is in the Mack, Lawler mould. 50/50 specialists who can stretch the field. This 3 NAT receiver group would be fine if we had an Emilus or someone of that ilk but we are rolling out scrubs as our third NAT. This won't work. Clercius is not the answer either. Time to give up this pipe dream of 3 NAT receivers. That being said our defence is a far greater problem right now. Our OL went to complete shyte after Neufeld went down, but I expect that to happen to some extent with in game injuries. Roster needs are to turn over every stone to get another IMP receiver that isn't just a place holder. Coaching needs are for JY to pull his head out of his ass or be fired. Let Richie take over. I was absolutely blown away by the number of times we went 3 man front but didn't have Ceresna out there. Can someone explain that to me?

I suggest that it far too soon to judge Daniels. He can be taught how to block better and yes, he fumbled but he was trying for extra yards. I would rather have that than someone who develops alligator arms in traffic or goes down at the first touch. Rookies make mistakes, but the physical attributes are there and he seem willing.

Given the amount of times we could have picked Cenacle or Ojutalayo (Calgary pick), Ulm (Toronto pick) but we picked 3 LB's...probably really only one who has potential to be a solid player on D....insane. That's ignoring the Daniels situation. I'm pretty firmly on the BPA side of the CFL draft, obviously factoring in availability....but if you looked at our roster it's pretty clear we needed to use at least one of our first 4-5 picks on a receiver, more likely one of our first 3. We also drafted a literal stiff in Trey Laing who had no shot to ever make anything in this league (one of the worst total combine performances ever) over a guy like Daniel Wiebe who is a little sparkplug slot receiver with hands out of Sask in 25.

were there not 8 receivers grabbed before Cenacle as well?...Surely we could have grabbed one of them not named Daniels who would have offered us something more than Corcorran I could see if he was a right demon on ST...had returner ability...was a lethal blocker in run game when he is in...uber athletic...to justify his roster spot...let alone justify getting offensive reps with the lame decision we can go 3 Nationals....he is absolutely none of that...he is pretty poor at all of them and is one of the most unathletic receivers we have had here in yrs...if not ever...I cant think of one who offered less... Just another in a long line of poor roster decisions...poor allocation of assets and poor assessment of actual talent....

Our Dbs are playing 12 yards off the ball, while we roll out 3 man fronts. The scheme is horrible. The best defence in the NFL couldn't make that work. Jordan Younger needs to fix this fast or be given a pink slip. We aren't getting to the QB, and are giving way too much cushion for any defence to be successful. Our run defence is atrocious but a lot of that is our alignment. If you are going to run 3 man fronts a lot you better bring out your beef LBers or today's CFL RBs will just run over them. Tony Jones needs to go back to MIKE, him at WIL makes zero sense and at least he is useful against the run at MIKE. Another problem is too many packages with too many players coming in and out, it is very hard to find any defensive success when we are subbing out multi players on every play. Guys aren't playing down hill because they are confused. That's on Younger, not on talent level. Nichols didn't suddenly forget how to cover etc.

Roster on offence too...hadnt hurt us until last game..but insistence to start 3 canadians when we dont have to...just plain dumb...stupid really...I could see if we had in addition to demski and Neild a Philpot...Gittens...Emilus..etc..but we dont...not even close...Clercius would help if moved inside but still not ideal...Neild is good but he not a difference maker or tone setter...hes a good under radar guy who will hurt teams if they choose to ignore and focus on our top 3...and our top 3 really are middle of pack at best too...they need to really step up if osh chooses to continue the nonesense

Kramdi is the same at safety as he was at sam.... he's OK as a low end Canadian used because you need someone. If he was a backup you're in good shape. As a starter a bit too hit or miss lacking consistency.

They have him buried behind Jones and Wilson...Much like Smith he needs/shoud be playing at least in heavy rotation if for anything to see if he is actually a guy with potential...All the signs and metrics point to him being very usefull...but in an Osh world you dont get a real chance unless multiple guys go out with a season ender...dont resign here...or retire and we have to make change and if we really being honest...of which none will ever be an actual starter type player....and maybe...maaaaybe 1 may get rotational reps...but could be about as effective as Kelly too tho....just more of our brain dead draft philosophy because we are to reliant and hung up on returnee players and aged out vets...basically same ol same ol that has caused our downward spiral of each of last 4 yrs being worse than previous

Griffin does start but Smith needs/has to start...Not starting him is just stunting his development as when he plays he plays well....so let him grow into it..free up that import spot elsewhere...Will Osh dump one his fav vets who has been underperforming off roster...thats the issue. And really I'd keep Wilson on over Jones as he offers more in what he can do, and in a situational role would be quite effective...he hasnt been that bad this yr tho the unit as a whole has been bad... and actually played pretty decent last yr Reese like Smith needs to play...this stupid logic we have that a rookie cant be usefull and start or get significant reps is nonesense...let your best play...Other teams have no problem doing so. Jenkins got basically the gifted pre-determined spot even before camp based on one game last yr where he looked legit..Reese is the better player currently...let him play Cersesna kinda limped off field after 1st series in 3rd quarter....had a lil chat with osh then went to locker room not to be seen again...so who knows his status If Osh does the brain dead move and place Korn on the roster as the replacement which I fear he should be canned...We would get more out of bringing in a import guy..a true DT type and coach him up this week and let him have at er...but based on history we will bring back a cut of ours who couldnt beat out what we already had...and be worse than we were to start the yr

lapo got a hc gig off his work here with many happy to see him leave. buck as well. We don’t know the specifics of how the staff works on D. Jy has a ton going for him as a dc. Hes part of the problem on D, but the roster on D is as well.

Zero INTs, two forced fumbles and most big plays against after 4 games. The whole point of this scheme is sacrificing the big plays by the D to give fewer big plays to the O. We’re just getting nothing good. This D scheme is really playing not to lose instead of playing the win. The wind in the sails of this franchise left when Younger took over the D. We have no ability to control games or shift momentum with this style of defense.

Sometimes its hard to see what they see...cause they have rostered a lot of sub par guys...still are Center wasn't an issue last game..thats the funny part..and seeing as Neuf wasn't hurt and will play this week...its obvious we need another playmaker on offence..eliminating having one at the expense of a canadian center who would do just fine is not really good rostering...even sadder is the fact based on ratio and our insistence on playing excessive canadians on defence which also aren't needed...we dont even have to go 3 canadian wr's even with 3 imoort olineman..thats how dense our coach is...just to prove some point which to me I have no clue what it is

U obviously havnt really observed the last 3 yrs...or really looked at the first 3 games..if cgy fielded the dline this week against us in week 1...we would be staring up from 0-3 Its not about the loss to the elks..but the total unprepared state to start..the roster on offence that crippled us due to 1 injury...players playing with lack of any urgency...or is it just lack of talent...is all right in line with the last several seasons of flopping...look at the whole picture.. not just selective bits of it...the 6 point loss flattered us more than signified we on right track or solid ground...if anything as history has shown will just confirm to osh that we are good and no changes are required in any area..I bet only change we see will be soley due to injury forcing it..and likely we see a questionable at best roster move..no changes for performance or lack there of tho.. I'll eat my hat if its different and take the verbal lumps from the boot lickers but I'm not too concerned about that happening

Lecture the ones who keeps referring to McManus, Osh & Walters as The Trinity, Sure as hell ain't me. You want to criticize anyone then do it to them. The people in charge have made plenty of mistakes. I've never called them The Trinity & never will. I see a pattern is emerging that the HC seems out of touch with how to win in this league. The way he builds his roster. How he doesn't use the DI rules to the team's advantage. The CFL of 2026 is a different league than it was in 2017 & 18 when a much younger Osh & Bombers started their rise to the top. The league is different & those that don't adapt will get left behind. I think Osh is stuck in a different world as a head coach. Is he losing the team? Is his message starting to fall on deaf ears? It will if we don't start winning. We're on a two game losing streak. We'll see if things can be turned around. One of two things will happen. It either gets better or it gets worse.

The Trinity this & the Trinity that... Some posters treat Walters, Osh & McManus like they're religious deities that can walk on water or part the Red Sea like Moses before them. To them. they never make mistakes. They agee with everything they do even though cham;pionship success is going on 5 years ago. Total BS. These three put their pants on the same way we all do. One leg at a time. They're not Gods. They're human. They are men & they make mistakes. They should have been put to pasture & fired last year but instead they're ineptitude was rewarded with 3 year contracts. And now, like the Elks were with Chris Jones & his long term contract that took years to expire. Or Ottawa with Bob Dyce. We are effed if this team fails.

depends what we running...some 2 true safety sets..we will use 2 guys...then run it again flip em around...sometimes add a totally different guy onto it...so someone has to fill their spot...will have the sam play a hb role and role the hb into the sam spot...we bring kelly in...and not sure wtf role he is..and who comes out cause of it...we will play a lb at end or as a modified rush end/jack....then sometimes run Kramdi up to do it and not sure who falls back to his spot...or we swing Griffin there to do it, so someone has to pick up the SAM spot....Just too much moving parts, and guys playing a role they not really suited to, just for "confusing" the offence? If you want a rush end/Jack kinda guy for some sets...dress one who is bult for and is actually suited for it...Not a db or tweener LB...You want a strong safety type gig...Dont use a Kelly in that spot...as he is not it....We used to fail miserably using Hallett there...now its kelly...Smith played a role like that in College...and played it well...Know your fricken players and use accordingly...thats just some the examples

Now find a guy who actually makes tackles for losses occasionally in the middle and we good there. DL concerning. No sacks the last 2 games now I think. Ceresna is hurt isn’t he cuz outside of 1 game, nothing. Jenkins or whoever, end that experiment cuz dude does nothing.Willie? Getting pressure but the minute the QB Moves 2 inches to his left or right Willie runs right by him. DB? Osh talks of the young guys but Williams has been ok. yup...but also some of the guys could have been good..hard to know as we clung onto old vets and marginal coaches favorites...I still stand on my opinion that Osh is a lousy evaluator of talent plain and simple...and the things he looks for and parlays to his scouting staff to find doesn't translate into elite players...maybe elite people and good guys...but you need more than good guys...and definitely need some thugs and just mean nasty guys...we have zero I not saying bad character guys before some get their panties in a twist...but some badass dudes....and a lot of times those dudes are great leaders and the team follows their way of playing...you can be badass and mean and still play within the rules I remember Ty Jones and to a lesser extent James WEST in warmups and before the game making a point of interacting and pissing off and dissing their opponents to th point they went right off their game trying to extract retribution and neglecting their assignments... and we feasted...

I’m glad pressure is off TE and he won’t have to be forced into action this year. It’s for the best. Next years camp is gonna be crazy watching him and brown go at it. Smith back in but no other changes. We are purely banking on improved execution and adjustments off the bye week. Don’t love it, but also don’t see the answer to fixing the D in roster moves that are readily available. The coaches need to earn their keep this week. Us at home off a bye week has been a struggle in the past.
