We start the week at a jammed packed Mosaic, Elks strike first and GG is so happy his favourite defender is back in the Riders lineup

Sort of peeved they honoured Dalke. Glad they honoured Bhishma. If Dalke survived he would be in jail. I get he was still a teammate and all but his actions lead to this. Difficult situation for the R

And this is the Wilson that I cannot stand. I appreciate the insight he brings to the booth during a game but **** that guy.

Off to Riderfans. Should be some calm rational conversation.

It's really hard to believe the disrespect Cody Fajardo gets around here. Just like Trevor Harris did until he won a Grey Cup.

Narratives shift slowly on MBB, especially when someone plays (or has played), for the Riders.

I have to give Fajito some respect for sure. He’s played well the last few years after leaving Sask.

For me it's his personality, not so much his play. Playing for the Riders didn't help but I still found him unlikeable in Montreal and Edmonton.

Yeah Fajardo is an insufferable ******

I wish I had taken Fajardo as my QB in fantasy this week. Happy I took TJ Luther.

It was an exciting game.

He almost gave the game away with the fumbled snap and then just tossing the ball up for grabs which the Riders got.

Yeah I rightfully ragged on Fajardo for being a doofus but he’s a good QB.

And do we need to retcon ourselves and pretend he was always this good? He deserved every criticism he got for the vast majority of his career.

That game last night would have been 21-19 ended on a last second failed hail mary attempt with the new field.

New field = punt, punt, punt, punt, punt, TD, punt, punt, punt, TD, punt, punt, punt, TD, punt, TD, punt, punt, punt, punt, punt, TD, punt, punt, hail mary game over.

This guy needs a kick in the nuts

Everyone still waiting on Willson's explanation as to how the 2027 changes will improve the game.

Knowing that the majority of the supportive comments in his echo chamber are probably people that don't even watch the CFL, and never will, is the worst part. What is he going to say when punts go up and scoring goes down? I suppose he will convince everyone that high scoring exciting football is for dinosaurs.

Also, let me know when the NFL or NHL look at removing jumbotrons to eliminate the once in a blue moon occasions when the ball/puck hits it and we'll talk.

I agree with him. The rule changes this year have been fine, even good. But the changes this year were less potentially harmful, and more importantly, reversible.

Right now. Fajardo is the best QB in the league and easily MOP front runner.

That's Alexander. Fajardo is a close 2nd though. The INTs is really the only difference maker.

Nah. Montreal has more talent on their roster than Edmonton does.

I don't know. Fajardo is working with the best RB. Alexander the best WR. it's actually pretty even imo. Edmontons WR core is super strong with Mack and Luther. Leake and Rankin look unbelievable at times.

Alexander is breaking records himself and helping his teammates potentially do the same.

Maybe the edge to Fajardo for winning the game against MTL. But I'd still bet on Alexander.

No way. Fajardo is nowhere near as consistent as Alexander or Harris. Edmonton has trouble scoring points even with the offensive production they have.

Through the first 1/3 of the season they were tied with us and Ottawa last for red zone efficiency.

Edmonton has the best overall pass defense in the league, otherwise they'd have lost 3-4 games already.

They've been doing a high wire act to win games and they've run out of games vs BC and Ottawa. Wouldn't be surprised if they finish up at 9-10 wins even though they are 6-1 now.

Davis Alexander says hello.

It's clear to me that Fajardo isn't the same QB he was with saskatchewan. He has put the work in to close up some of the holes in his game. I didn't think I'd ever say this, but I would welcome him in blue and gold.
