Brandon Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Just now, Mike said: Didn’t say it was a terrible signing. Just doesn’t really suit the kind of receiver I was hoping for. 5’9”, gonna be 32 years old, fits that Justin Hardy style I just don’t really think I want with the pieces we already have. It's an upgrade over Sterns. It's helluva lot more likely that he will produce over Logan/Mitchell/Sterns did last season. Now if they can get Dunbar or Rhymes (assuming on a good deal) a tall receiver then that would be really nice. Or heaven forbid the club recruits and brings in fresh blood and gives them a chance.
17to85 Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago White is a good receiver so it's a good signing. Now go get that big body big play guy and we're cooking. Noeller, Bigblue204, BBlink and 1 other 1 2 1

It’s definitely an upgrade over Sterns, it’s just really not the kind of player I wanted. He’s got the exact same issues Pokey does - he’s a target vacuum who has a low catch %, even lower catch % on downfield targets (White had the worst catch % in the league on targets deeper than 20 yards) and he doesn’t really bust any big plays, give us a jump ball target or take the top off a defense. Jpan85 Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Bridges is the guy I would go after next week perfect big body WR core needs Tracker and Atomic 2

Arnold_Palmer Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago I would love to bring a guy like Joe Robustelli to complete our core. 6’3, 220 he looks like a future star in the making. Just stuck behind a deep and talented core. Bring him in with White, Wilson, and Demski and now we’re cooking. Tracker, johnzo, 3rdand1.5 and 1 other 4

Hopefully he can bounce back He didn 't like being Number 2 behind Lawler last year & I think it affected his performance. 12 minutes ago, Arnold_Palmer said: I would love to bring a guy like Joe Robustelli to complete our core. 6’3, 220 he looks like a future star in the making. Dr Zaius Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Tim White's kneel for the Rouge in the 2021 Grey Cup is the only reason we won it that year Guy has always been undercover for the Bombers rebusrankin, Tracker and Noeller 3

JuranBoldenRules Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Really interested to see how this plays out with Collaros. Condell obviously loves him from Hamilton. Targeted White 8 times a game on average when he was calling plays there. Schoen had fewer targets in 22 and 23. Bombers really lacking vertical threat in terms of guys with some catch radius who can give a QB the chance to not have to pinpoint the ball every single time. Still think we could and should improve our Canadian receivers with Brissett. TBURGESS and Tracker 2
Mr. Perfect Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago I very much have a "meh" Nick Moore type feeling to this signing. I mean it's okay, I guess. As Mike said, a very small, soon to be 32 year old receiver coming off a year of the dropsies doesn't really create that much excitement. Mack obviously would have been much more preferable
Atomic Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago I am happy to see the Bombers land a big free agent rebusrankin 1

Like him and Wilson are potentially a bit redundant. Do we have anyone who is willing to block downfield? For run game, but also White/Wilson have a lot of utility in screen game. Demski is old as hell for pro football. Could be great, could fall off the cliff tomorrow. I hope we're still active in adding parts to the offense. Because we're lacking majorly at receiver and OL. Think we really have to be prepared to play at least 3 American OL. Wouldn't be the craziest thing to be active in the free agent market on American OL and we need another vet receiver, ideally more physical type who can go get the ball and work in scramble drill. And we need help on the interior of the DL to shore it up. With Jake Thomas hogging the playimg time for years, I really don't know what we have. I do know that the DL played better as a unit when Thomas wasn't on the field. Edited 58 minutes ago by SpeedFlex27 Piggy 1 1
3rdand1.5 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I like the White signing, a one year....personal 1000yard guy, he will show up with something to prove, I can only assume he will have a chip on his shoulder....true not a Bailey type at all.....I am also in the camp of Robestelli, maybe even one the Riders CDN receivers..... Still don't like the Kyrie signing...again not personnel, but IMO it was the right time to move on.... As I said before I think our O line will look good this year.., For me we need more overall depth at receivers, at least one more CDN receiver with some experience, and some help along the D line I still believe this has been one of Walters best pre FA's....
