Moore is a great value play.  2nd year off ACL.

Edmonton building the right kind of core around Cornelius.  He's a quick game guy, not going to sit in pocket and make reads.

Yup- Tyler's going with the heavy balls.

In all seriousness, Edmonton is going to be the team to challenge us this year.

I like Sayles but $200,000 per year is an overpay.

Woah, way to go Sayles! Nice payday.

Not without a qb they won't. This might be the year that the east is actually tougher than the west though.

Just saw this and snorted.... 200k! Based on what???

"made 36 tackles, six sacks, and two forced fumbles over 18 starts at defensive tackle with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2022, setting all-new career-highs. He made 28 tackles and five sacks as a CFL rookie in 2021."

SOlid numbers that are trending up.

I like Cornelius- I think he can have a lot of success in the CFL.

Sayles is a better rotational piece than full time starter IMO.

It's great you like Cornelius and his heavy balls.... but all I see is a wildly inaccurate passer.

would have liked to keep Sayles for rotation...as he proved that he can rotate inside and off edge last yr, but 200k per doesn't work here, and we can get same kinda production, with better upside cheaper...happy for him to get paid...he has worked hard last 2 yrs to earn it...but you cant keep everyone

Interesting. If Walters was willing to let him walk, I'm sure they have a plan for DT, which is our only real hole at this point...

Happened to Nevis, happened to Stove, happened to Sayles.

We just don't pay American tackles. Here comes the next rookie.

Poop and Bryant too. though moving on from Nevis was because stove was soo good and cheaper. But he’s the last dt we paid great money to.

Not necessarily a rookie if the team thinks Ricky Walker is ready to go

he had some nice impact plays last yr....more 1st team reps and practice...will give us more than Sayles in my opinion..bigger body and more bullish
