Great game from our backup level running back, right Speedflex?!

I became a Bomber fan in 1965, two years before Bud Grant left for the Vikings after the 67 season. i got a taste of that era with their last GC appearance. But by then, the team was old & so many star players were retiring. I rememberr the 61 & 62 GC's but at the time I didn't care as I was 6 & 7 years old. So, for me this is special. My Gawd, these are truly The Good Old Days.

I respect the older generation. This is what I can tell my kids and grand kids one day about this Bomber squad!

Yep, l was in my 20s and used have sex fairly regularly.  Now I just have the Bombers to keep me satisfied.

To me, this feels bigger than that. The Bombers won 3 Grey Cups in 7 seasons between 84 & 90. They had great regular season records during that time but they never totally dominated like they are now. This feels historic.

Imagine if the Bombers were coming off a 2nd bye week and had a healthy roster....  pretty damn impressive.  

 

I'll admit I was worried about this one going in but this team just gets the job done.

Best CFL game this year. Great plays by both teams, lot of points, no sacks, no turnovers.

On the cjob post game show some one from twitter suggested dalton schoens nickname should be roadhouse. Since he now leads the league in td catches i think the swayze train would approve.

He had a great game. 

How crazy is dalton schoens rookie year? Bailey has the same amount of tds as schoen in his 27 game career in the cfl. 
 He has as many tds so far this year as lawler scored all of last year. 
 Augustine and Brady in their career combine for 70 games and 2 less touch downs. 

i wonder if Lawler is bothered by the fact that we don't miss him? I hope he enjoys playing for that Wizard Of Id Head Coach Chris Jones?? 

Roadhouse is a ******* great  nickname and the only way I will refer to Dalton henceforth

Even with his salary, I have a hard time thinking at the end of the day given Manitoba taxes, cost of living, and playoff bonuses that he would have made significantly less playing here.
