Blue and Gold post a 2021 profit of 2.1 million dollars. Far and away, the flagship franchise in the CFL. Kudos to all, especially in a shortened season.

  • Interesting tidbit...

Congratulations Kyle Walters on your anniversary as Bomber GM. I am grateful for your accomplishments.

Are they though? Are they really better than say Toronto or even Montreal? Regardless of 1 or 2 wins difference...

Of course they are because his argument is based on it

It's just such a weird take because the riders are 1-1 against Montreal (who also did manage to beat winnipeg too)  and 0-2 against the argos... so where is this tougher team hiding?

Montreal also waxed them 37-13

The Riders have done nothing to show they are better than Montreal or Toronto

Yeah that article didn't leave me hopeful for a return anytime soon, but who knows...

Yeah he's 8 months into his rehab which seems like plenty of time to have healed up from his knee injury. He did manage to play most of the Grey Cup with the same injury. Maybe he suffered a setback at some point. Not great news.

I felt like when they announced BA's injury that he might not be back until the BB so this doesn't seem unexpected but yeah, I'd predict him being back late Sept/early Oct.

Not “news” - but we must be due for some new turf at IGF.

It didn't look great earlier this year, when they had their fan event. Looks pretty beat up.

With the Valour/Bisons/Bombers playing on it and the stupid NFL promoter destroying it, it needs to be replaced.

Plus it is about 10 years old.

that NFL exhibition game was one of the dumber ideas I've ever seen.

Just be happy you didn’t pay for that BS

LOL - I was actually offered tickets by a few people, but I was like - why would I fly to Winnipeg to watch a bunch of NFL bums play in an exhibition game when I can just pop over to Seattle and watch an actual game?  And I'd rather go to Vancouver and watch a live CFL game any day over NFL anyway.

Can't they just rent a Rug Doctor and clean it up?

Was walking barefoot on the field after the game last night and thinking it looked and felt a bit worn. Definitely could be due to be replaced...

that's just mind boggling, I don't even remember the last time they clinched a playoff berth this early, man that scenario is screaming no matter what we're goingto the playoffs, I wish the Jets were this good (hey can we get a Go Jets reaction too?)

Winnipeg has already clinched a playoff spot. 10 wins will get you in. Hell 8 or 9 usually do it.

But what if the Bombers lost every game and all other games ended in ties?

Mathematically, they have not clinched. But in practical reality they are making the playoffs are comfortably in position to host a playoff game at this point.

Boise State has the power to veto that plan if indeed it was a plan.
