I suspect it's all a matter of "do we have enough cap room" to pay him a pro-rated salary for a couple of weeks. I can't imagine they wouldn't, if they had money for Beggleton..I'm sure they could make it happen. Especially if McGuire has a groin injury. This all just makes way too much sense....spend the next couple weeks learning Buck's playbook, and away we go...

Isn't it just playoff money now to be on the roster?

Seems to me I recall there being rules about not playing in playoffs if you weren't on the team before a certain date.  Though that might just apply to players who were released from other CFL teams.

Oh hell yes. Talk about cherry on top. Stevy comes home for a couple weeks hits up another gc party then he can chase another nfl back up job.

I don't really see a future for him in thr nfl.  I'm hopeful we can sign him as our back and future starter. 

he honestly doesn't need the money...that's couch cushion change for him at this point. But to come party with his buddies for a few weeks and win a 'Ship? Why the **** wouldn't he?

I don’t really see him as a starter. He has a niche and he does it better than anyone.

Yeah but he could be a career back up on his physical tools. Would be great to see him here developing as a starter under collaros and buck.

If we could sign him this week I feel like he could be ready to help the team for the next game.  A small package with Streveler would be better than any of our other backups.
