As for the depth chart itself...

    - Going to miss Gauthier. Hopefully Briggs will have a good game. He seemed to be ahead of Gauthier a season or two ago (if I recall correctly he started at WIL for a spell) but then got surpassed.

    - I continue to be amused that they are giving Thomas a secondary OL number even though we're rostering 7 OL

    - Love keeping McRae on the roster

The two LBs bring different things to the table... when deployed on D, Gauthier plays MLB and Briggs plays WIL... neither has ever been a consistent starter... Briggs for a few games as an injury replacement in 2019... both guys getting a little older (Briggs 33, Gauthier 31) and may not have a lot of time left... their biggest impact is on special teams... Gauthier, especially, as I'll never forget the game saving play he made in the 2019 WCF...

Agree with you on McCrae... I know we all have high hopes for Agudosi... and not giving up on him yet... I just think McCrae brings more of what we need right now... change of pace back, great route running, great catcher... Woli, BOLO, Schoen, and Lawler can all bring what Agudosi brings to the table

Tate was a headcase. I'll never forget one Stamps home game at least 10 years ago where he took a big hit & was shaken up. He came off the field for a series then went back in again before the 1st half ended.

He was coming out of the locker room walking to the bench. He was stopped by a TSN reporter Jermain Franklin for an interview. He was asked how he felt. He told the reporter he has no memory of playing in the first half & the only reason he went back in was the doctors cleared him. The next day, the CFL launched an investigation of the Stamps medical staff & HC John Hufnagel into the team's concussion protocols. Did Huff or the doctors make Tate go back in when it wasn't safe?

He put the reputation of Huff as a coach & the entire medical & training staff on the line. Then, he says. "Oh, I was just kidding! I really was alright. My memory was fine." I'm sure he heard about it from Huff & team officials. What a moron.

Why are you blaming Tate in this scenario?... I don't recall the circumstances... but if this played out as you described and the team forced him out to play when he shouldn't have... he was likely still "off" during that half time interview and the team rightfully, should have been called out for unsafe player management... if Calgary took heat for this, they only have themselves to blame

The club has made the following transactions:

    Added to roster:
    🇨🇦  Kerfalla Exume (DB)

    Added to practice roster:
    🇨🇦  Jared Beeksma (LB)

    Released from practice roster:
    🇨🇦  Jakub Szott (OL)

"Like" is not a strong enough reaction... I LOVE these moves!... well, mostly adding Exume to help out our struggling teams game... I don't know anything about Beeksma

Vaj reminds me of Kevin Glenn. Good enough to hang around the CFL just lacks the ability to string wins together and makes boneheaded calls when he’s rattled.

I'd take prime KG over prime VA any day

Losing composure when losing isn't the sign of a solid team

When the Bombers were getting beating down by the Lions... not once, did they lose their composure or take a stupid penalty... no one can deny, they are a well-coached team

I don't blame Prukop for the throw. I do think it was a huge mistake for Buck to have that play call in at that point in the game.

Brady was just getting rolling. Should have let him grind it out.

I still haven't watched the replay of that game... after watching the BC debacle, it might not seem so bad anymore 😅.... but I'm sure I recall Brady being available as a check down option with a good 20 yards of space in front of him... that's the part the bugs me the most about it

I hadn't anticipated that expressing my fondness for Regina's meaty and cheesy pizza creation would stir up such a commotion. After moving to BC to be closer to my grandkids, I was disappointed that the pizza scene here predominantly consists of hipster inspired creations and Neapolitan style pies, which certainly gives me a greater appreciation of the delightfully greasy prairie pizza back home.

This sounds like an admission that you are from Regina 👀

From my seat the box didn't look nearly big enough to fit a grown man but it was the only explanation, especially when they wheeled it right under the set and then promptly took it off the field during the act.

    magic

ah yes, very clever... but there's still two big questions... what happened to the "replacement guy" in the box? and how did Darcy get to that platform in front of the rum hut without anyone noticing?

They clearly moved the box right under the stage before he got on it. Then, they moved it back when he got onto the stage and the curtain came up, and after they rolled it away. You could even see the black box moving.

I don't care for illusionists. I don't find it interesting. But, that's probably the first time it was so obvious what was happening and how he did it.

I genuinely don't remember there being a black box... clearly I wasn't paying that close attention 😂

HH. Darcy Oake...best half time show ever!

I also very much enjoyed it... the fun was that we kind of all knew what was going to happen... so we were looking for little things that would tip it off... but he blew our minds...

When the curtain came down and he was hooded and tied tight in a straight jacket... we knew that was no longer him... but then where did he go? ... how did he escape from center field with no one noticing?... how did the guy replacing in the box disappear? .... how did he get up to the rum hut so fast?... I'm curious to know how he did it... but there is some fun in the unknown

just look at this sick RPO. Hamilton #90 (Oli's old teammate Mason Bennett) chomps hard on the run fake and Collaros is completely clean as he rolls out and hits Woli for the TD.  hell, I bet Collaros could have run for the TD if he'd picked up blocks from Schoen and Demski, he had so much field to work with.

(edit: actually, I don't know if this was RPO or if it was just a straight up run fake.)

I'm certainly no expert on this... but I'd say it was just straight play-action on that one.... either way, Bennett bit hard

Helps to build a roster when you’re paying your QB $67 thousand dollars. That’s not a luxury they’ll get again if he proves to even be adequate.

this is the same thing we said about BC last year... their plan was to cheap out at QB and load up on other skill positions.... so either it works out and they're on the hook for paying the QB (which they would've had he not gone to the NFL)... or it doesn't... Toronto has to win it all this year for the plan to work out

I'm not sure if I want to start campaigning to cut Jeffcoat but I'm pretty close. Maybe bringing in the Lemonator might send a message.

agreed... I said this at the end of last season about both Jeffcoat and Wilson... love both those players... one could argue they were the two front runners for the Bombers MODP nominee in the first 4-5 games last year... Jeffcoat was arguably the best defensive player in the GC (on either side of the field)... but as is becoming far too common, injuries ruined all of that... and how long can you rely on guys that are constantly injured?
