B-F-F-C got a reaction from DR. CFL in Drew Willy to Organize Practice if Players Strike
I think most agents would advise their players not to participate as they wouldn't be covered if they were injured.  Too risky if you ask me.

There are special immigration rules for professional sports.  They don't need to go thru the same hoops that a welder or accountant would.

Trouble is the bible is full of contradictions which is why any reasonable Christian will remember one simple thing about their religion... they are followers of Christs teachings so if there's a contradiction in the Bible then the default question should be what would Jesus do? The answer to that of course is to love everyone and judge no one.

Why dont you enlighten everyone then?

I think people are being pretty clear here.  No one is attacking Christianity (many of us are chuch goers).  But people like Price use Christianity to fan the flames of intolerance.  And please done give us the "we love all humans. We just dont love gay acts".  Because thats a cop out and bullshit.

    Twits will tweet

I wonder how Price's teammate Jon Cornish thinks about his homophobic tweet?  As most of you know, Jon was raised by a lesbian couple and he's very outspoken and proud of his two moms.

I'll defer to O'Shea on this decision.    After all, he should have some idea on what makes a good MLB.

B-F-F-C got a reaction from Yourface in Sheets pleads guilty to possession of weed
Marijuana possession laws in Canada are ridiculous.  I have 3 friends, 2 lawyers and a judge that get together with our wives every 2 - 3 months for dinner at one our houses.  Usually after supper the men and sometimes women head to the garage and smoke a couple of joints.

A friend of mine who took many of the same classes as I did would often share a joint just before our exams.   It would settle us down and open up the mind.  But remember, pot was a lot less potent in the 70's as it is today.

I hate Sheets but I feel he was unnecessarily punished.

Well considering the number of pro athletes who smoke weed regularly, I'd say he was doing just fine acting like a pro athlete.

if guys like Marcus Brady and Jarious Jackson can be coaches in the CFL then so can Buck Pierce. I dunno if he wants to or if the Bombers want him to but I don't think he's unqualified for at least a chance anyway.

Well it's not surprising some of you are underwhelmed, considering the over/under stance some of youze take., but I don't understand why there has to be an overwhelming factor.
Looks to me we'll have a hard working staff if the hours O'Shea has put in is any indication.

O'Shea knows these guys and has worked with most in the past.
    Hey, that's works for me.

As for Bellefeuille…well, all's I can say is, before he was thrown in that terrible situation last year, he was in the process of trying to improve his offensive awareness.

He took a job in the United Football League as offensive co-ordinator and wide receivers coach with the Omaha Nighthawks.
When the Blue Bombers called, he had been watching and learning at the NFL camps of the Chicago Bears and New York Giants, about to check out the Tennessee Titans. He studied their offences and how they ran training camp. -WINNIPEG SUN

I don't know what to expect from training camp this year, but I sure see it as being more focused, with attention to detail

And who's to say we can't a new standard for coaching with the depth of Canadian knowledge we possess.

Me? I'll sit at 'whelmed' at this point, bide my time, and see what happens.

Agreed. One thing I won't miss was his annoying habit he developed in the past two years of complaining to the refs after every incomplete pass to call pass interference. I hope that the receivers this year stop doing that. All it does is make the refs not want to call the PI, even if it's blatant.

B-F-F-C got a reaction from rebusrankin in Miller gets the big picture
I think everyone agrees that you can't fix all the mistakes that have been made over the past 5 - 6 years. And there's not one move that's going to immediately make this team a legitimate contender.  However, and I'm sure Walter's and Miller know that strengthening the QB position might just fix 50% of what needs to be done.

The Burris deal could not be expected as who on this earth would have thought anyone would offer him $450,000 a year.  Walter's must have thought he was in good in a good position at $375,000.   And Collaros made a personal decision which most of us would have made as well.

I also like the value that Walters places on the Cdn draft.  He's not willing to give up a high draft pick for a guy like Nicholls or maybe even Glenn.

So we may or may not sign Willy and even if we do. He's unproven and yet to prove he can take that next step to become a capable #1 QB.  But we do know that the scouting staff have been mandated to find that next Zach Collaros   I also have more faith in that process as we now have a guy who knows what skills are required to be a QB in this league.

So while I'm not looking forward to starting the season without a proven experienced QB. I do agree with Miller and Walters that we have to be patient and let them do their jobs.   This is  different organization and the infrastructure that we have today, should provide dividends in the future.  But the key word is "future".
