O'Shea's answer to the "sex during Grey Cup week" question:
“Well, it’s been eight years since we’ve climbed into this position, and another 29 since we finished the job. So there’s going to be some nerves, and the expectations are very high, and the anticipation can sometimes ruin the event,” O’Shea said. So I guess my guidance to the players would be don’t exhaust yourself in warmup.”

That was such a dirty hit.
Yeah, I lost it a bit watching that play.
Part of that clip I love though is watching Adams' teammates on the sidelines reacting to his catch.

but come on even 8 year old me had a clue that painting someones face black was not in good taste.
When I was a kid, a friend's dad wore blackface and dressed as a black woman for Halloween. He said he was a "black ****". That was messed up...

My son is the same age I was last time we won the Cup. That has to mean we're going to win!

Like the Labour Day game.
Labour Day they just drove it down our throats. Yesterday would have been different with all of the strange plays that happened.

I honestly thought the football gods were going to **** us on that last drive. The dropped ints and and the non-fumble call, it was all adding up to a soul-crushing ending.

We lost the 1994 East Final by the damn cross bar with Dunigan so it all evens out.
Imo, that was going to be a Taylor int if it didn't hit the crossbar.

yet Streveler scored enough to have won that game... they gave up 6 first downs in that last Riders drive... 6
Now post our offensive stats from the 1st quarter.

I'd rather have Harris at $500k than Reilly at $700k.

and it finally dawned on me who he throws like when I was away in cali and seen players up close and its Phillip Rivers..and he has done just fine..and that throwing motion is less likely to have shoulder issues..as shown by his relatively healthy career
Absolutely. The first time I saw him throw I thought of Rivers.
Not that I'm a professional qb, but I've thrown the ball like that for years now, and it's much easier on your shoulder and elbow.

Loved the guy as a kid, but his best before date was a long time ago. Now he's just an old guy incoherently yelling about why things aren't like they used to be.
This is one of my favourite Cherry moments. Sticking up for the good Canadian boys...

Any recommendations for motels in Regina that are close to the stadium, and will have other Bomber fans staying there?
Also, for anybody who's going, where are you sitting?

I'm surprised they can do that.
Yeah, I thought you could only do that once a week.

Protecting the ball is definitely the most important thing. We had way too many red zone turnovers in our previous games against them.

And no Rogers for Calgary..
If Jorden is anywhere close to what he used to be, he should make up for that loss.

there's only 1 Postmedia beat writer who covers the Stamps for both the Calgary Sun & Herald. His name is Danny Austin. I follow him on twitter. He's constantly tweeting about the Stamps & he engages anyone who comments. The guy likes CFL football & does a good job covering the team. But that's it. No one else really does. The sad part is he's from Toronto & he has more passion for the Stampeders than the rest of the media combined.
I follow him, too. I agree that he does a good job.

Good news for Bomber defenders as it seems no one likes to be playing in Mr. Rogers neighbour hood.
Kamar Jorden might be back, though.

Doesn't say much for the rest of us; especially the Lions.
What are your thoughts on that?
I'd give Claybrooks another.chance, but look for better asst coaches.
Edit: quoted wrong post, meant thoughts on hiring Maas.
Superstitions

I played a bit of junior hockey, and everybody else on the team being superstitious made me superstitious. I started putting my equipment on the left side of my body first, and now I do it with shoes, clothes, etc. It actually bothers me to see somebody put their right shoe on first.
It's weird b/c it brought me no luck in my hockey life, so I gained no perceived benefit from it, but I can't not do it now...
