  1. Now, admittedly AND sadly, I'm usually the first person to start screaming fire when I get the slightest whiff of smoke, but I'm not worried in the slightest.

We don't have our starting QB or MOP RB and we barely lose to a team that by all rights should have blown us out of the water. I've lived in this godawful wheatermelon (feel free to use it, but only in the derogative) province to hate them like aids, hitler and mosquitos, and not many things bring me a smirk like watching those fools run off the field like this was the Grey Cup. This might've been their Grey Cup but it's one game and they squeaked by a crippled team. The only game against them that matters this year is our last one.

Don't worry, have a drink, joint, **** or eat some paint chips, it's gonna be fine. I promise.

  2. Not much time to read the site until later but I gotta go on record as saying, I'm not expecting a W, nor am I expecting Streveler to be lights out, but I hope he shows well enough for is to build off and develop his skills over the next month or so while we don't have Nichols. Go Blue

  3. I'm gonna go ahead and not look at this thread for the rest of the night after this comment:

It's not Lapolice, it's Nichols. Lapolice is calling a game based on lack of trust in Nichols. He's either hurt or got something going on, but I'd rather have Bethel-Mcburgler throwing the ball for us than Nichols. I think he might mentally lose his composure, gets too high and then way too low. I'll admit I want Nichols to win, seems like a good guy and a good family man, but he's not leading this team well.

This was a real bad game. I don't know if we were sniffing our own farts, but this was not good at all.

I'm out, I'll attend to the vitriol the internet has for my internet opinion tomorrow.

Oh I know! The stuff I hear is ridiculous! I'm not even going to get into the rest of it.

Too bad your cop friend doesn't know his "friend" is running off to tell strangers on the internet his words imparted in confidence, so his "friend" can collect all the internet points.

I get the point of a forum and sharing info and all, but what those guys see and have to do is some hard stuff that messes people up. It'd be nice if the outlet they chose to share, had some class and decorum and didn't do what you did.

A guy who just got beat on a play. Hes pissed off. O got owned today. Hardrick is not happy. Maybe If u want drama here instead, its cuz hes had enough of Nichols but its nothing so..

Not looking for drama, but pick up your QB.

O-line was just as weak as Nichols tonight in my opinion. This one kinda hurts after getting real excited about this season, but the season isn't decided in one real garbagey game. Unless it's the Grey Cup, but ya know what I mean 😉

I posted this in "Monday Morning Musings" but maybe it is more appropriately re-posted here in light of the discussion of quality of teams:

Here are some numbers to chew on when trying to decipher where the CFL teams really stand so far, in terms of strength of competition. I'll just give you the raw data, make of it what you will.

I will first list the overall record and winning percentage of each team's opponents, along with the number of games against an opponent with a .500 or better record. I will then provide the "adjusted" record and winning percentage as determined by what the opponent's record was at the time the game was actually played, to possibly reflect that's opponent's strength at that point in time (example, the Bombers have beaten Ottawa twice, a team with a 2-3 record, so a .400 winning percentage and no games against a .500 or better opponent - but at the point in time the Bombers played them, the RedBlacks were 2-0 and then 2-2, for a .667 winning percentage and 2 of 2 games against a .500 or better team). When considering the "at this point in time" record of the team to establish a game against a .500 or better team, I did NOT count week 1 where everyone was 0-0. So the number of games against a .500 or better team in that category ignores playing a team at 0-0. Only Toronto did not factor into this adjustment, and Hamilton in fact had two games reduced because of this factor. All totals are complete through week 6.

BC's opponents have an overall record of 16-14 (.533), and 4 of 6 are currently .500 or better. "At the time" record is 4-7 (.364) with 2 of 5 opponents at .500 or better.

Calgary's opponents have an overall record of 9-17 (.346), and 1 of 5 are currently .500 or better. "At the time" record is 4-9 (.308) with 1 of 4 opponents at .500 or better.

Edmonton's opponents have an overall record of 13-14 (.481), and 3 of 5 are currently .500 or better. "At the time" record is 4-6 (.400) with 2 of 4 opponents at .500 or better.

Saskatchewan's opponents have an overall record of 10-16 (.384), and 2 of 5 are currently .500 or better. "At the time" record is 3-7 (.300) with 2 of 4 opponents at .500 or better.

Winnipeg's opponents have an overall record of 8-18 (.308), and 1 of 5 are currently .500 or better. "At the time" record is 6-5 (.545) with 3 of 4 opponents at .500 or better.

Hamilton's opponents have an overall record of 11-14 (.444), and 3 of 5 are currently .500 or better. "At the time" record is 2-4 (.333) with 1 of 3 opponents at .500 or better.

Montreal's opponents have an overall record of 16-9 (.640), and 4 of 5 are currently .500 or better. "At the time" record is 10-2 (.833) with 4 of 4 opponents at .500 or better.

Ottawa's opponents have an overall record of 18-7 (.720), and 4 of 5 are currently .500 or better. "At the time" record is 7-3 (.700) with 2 of 4 opponents at .500 or better.

Toronto's opponents have an overall record of 15-11 (.577), and 3 of 5 are currently .500 or better. "At the time" record is 6-7 (.462) with 3 of 5 opponents at .500 or better.

You lost me at "numbers", but I admire your dedication.

    Seriously tho, great work!

Hey Ripper, how's your qb situation? You have a lot more to worry about with your team than we do with ours.  That Pick 6 Fajardo threw to Roberson was majestic. I have to admit I thought about you as Roberson ran into the end zone & started to laugh.

I usually think of ripper about two hours after I eat mall sushi. His posts = mall sushi aftermath

  8. Thank god a rider fan is here to keep this thread in line, heaven forbid his blessed pure soul is ever accused of trolling....

Ripper, touting your internet virtue and acting as a BS mod here is weak. Go back to your circle jerk site and crying about the cup being stolen from you in week one. Your QB could barely remember his own name at the start of the season and now he's wearing a helmet around the house and drinking from a sippy cup for the rest of his days.

He's alright sometimes, but he reeks of jealousy and his sister/wife right now, and that's stinky combo.

Yeah we lost this year but at least our streak doesn’t continue. Your team had a legit chance to win this year and your idiot coach and mediocre QB crapped the bed.

I wish your mother-wife didn't give you the internet password so often. You can get your porn in the family photo albums. Go back to your misspelled, self-indulgent P.O.S. site, inbred goof.

  10. Folks, generally I love this site and fire out all the likes I possibly can just show my appreciation for all your insight/hilarity/squabbling, but y'all are going overboard on the political jabs and lowest common denominator insults. I live in SK (and hate it for all the obvious reasons) and it's beginning to feel a little too Sasky in here. Could we just chill? I don't wanna know your politics other than locker room stuff or how Weston Dressler looks so small he might be an ambassador from the fairy people or when y'all debated how big that guy's junk was.

Anyone notice Poop Johnson is with the Riders now or did we talk about that and I missed it? Thought he was going home to make more money...?

Fire away on how much I suck........ NOW!

You can tell when you are disscussing a football topic with adults. As well as the juvenile. You know the kind. They don’t have anything of consiquence to add. So they would rather call names. The type of fan that brings a bad name to their fan group.

When a person grows up they understand how much more they can learn by being respectful.

I just finished complimenting the Winnipeg Bluebombers. Who by the way haven’t won anything at this point. I wrote in a respectful manner. Your reply to this discussion that started with respect and a compliment is to name call.

I sure hope other Bomber don’t reply in this manner. In fact I hope they speak up for what is right.

I sure "can tell when I'm discussing a football topic with adults." An adult brings a viewpoint to the conversation rather than poorly parroting back a weak summary of hundreds of pages of ....mostly ... adult discourse.  You're right, I do "know the kind." Surprise junior, it's you. I'm not certain of your age but it's particularly easy to surmise your mental age. Don't come to a community with some weak sugary words and expect you can assert your flimsy assessment of respect. Take your little voice back to the children's table because not many here are willing to participate in your garbage. Shake the grain dust outta your ears son, go home home and tell pappy about the mean people on the interwebs and keep your located to the farm or that toilet bowl called Regina.

I've always been one for education being the means to developing a better world. Then I lived in Saskatchewan. Yes, with significant difficulty, they're eventually able to read and write but they never drop the willing ignorance, gain rational thought or really just develop critical thinking to level where they can be taken seriously.

Ah yeah, I'm not going to bother correcting the bulk of the poster's weak spelling or grammar, but if you come to this forum, spell the team's name correctly. That's the start of some respect there.

Does firing Hall suddenly make the Bomber secondary not suck?  How about Hurl?  Does he become a starting MLB without Hall?

Richie Hall forgot more about defence then most of you will ever know but it is hard to compete when you simply don't have the horses.

The best part?  Walters and O'Shea should be inline for extensions.

    :1310_thumbsup_tone1:

If we get to pick when we fire Hall can also to vote ban this weiner?
