The other aspect is that sometimes venting and grumbling is just that... as an example I'll go ***** about my workplace but I'm still overall happy here and no real designs on leaving. Point? Okay well situation is a little different first off there’s a little difference then losing three in a row and never winning the big game then there is to winning two and then losing three. Obviously we know things aren’t good enough, but when Buffalo fired Polian they got back next year (and lost again) and then went 6-10 the next season, we’re mostly a wild card team for the next couple of seasons and then went 16 years without making the playoffs, meanwhile Polian then goes to Indy and goes to two more superbowls, winning one, and going into to the Indianapolis Colts ring of fame. Really the moral of the story is the grass isn’t always greener, as much as this team has to be better next year using that example actually shows making those kind of decisions can cripple a franchise if done incorrectly.

I remember like probably about 15 years ago (christ I am old) I was at a social at Oak Park and Mike Richards was there. He went out to the parking lot and I walked by and said “hey Flyers suck!” and he called me and a buddy over and said yeah they do suck I hate it there I wanna get traded, gave me a Pabst Blue Ribbon and we shot the **** for five minutes before we grabbed a picture and went on our way. He got traded like a month later.

Couldn't agree more. The whole narrative is overblown. It is frustrating as well...but how the bottom of our rosters shake out week to week is not something that is of huge consequence. The whole hanging onto vets too long is also overdone. Sure there might be 3-4 headscratchers over the past few years but it's not like they were costing us. They still played decent football for the most part. It would be gobsmackingly stupid for the Bombers to fire either Walters or OShea. Idiotic.

I think some of this is overblown to be honest. There's a couple guys need to be shown the door because time has passed them by but some of the young guys people ***** and moan about were hardly guarantees anyway. It's really not the big deal a select few have made it seem.

Some interesting comments from Neuf on his media availability. Must watch especially for the off season. lots of interesting questions and responses. Not nearly the usual tight lipped stuff we see. cited the injuries combined with the amount of turn over on the ol leading to the struggles they saw early. Not getting to practice and have a camp beside Lofton, Liam’s adjustment to starting, and the injuries that put him back out and Bryant’s scare. Definitely sounds like he forced it back early and wasn’t ready and probably should’ve been shut down much sooner. Also mentions that guys need to get that continuity going early in camp shaking the rust off and not the season. In response to opportunity to improve with change he seems excited and positive about having some change though missing buck and Bourgoin.

Sure...but it does happen to lets say trainers or even just friends in the city...who have other clients/friends who also like the bombers and they get chatting and things are talked about. I know this from personal experience.

There was an article about guys getting workouts. Tyrell ford had a few. Ayers had a couple. Even pokey Wilson with the Jets. broncos seem to be a common team when it comes to who bringing them in for looks but Falcons with cfl ties sign them.

My perspective is that WJ would need to be ready to just leave in order to not come back. What's he going to get from another team that he can't get here? Money? Bombers have as much or more incentive to pay him big bucks... chance at a cup? Well 5 straight appearances his chances here seem as good as anywhere... so why is he leaving? Unless he's come down with O'Shea derangement syndrome like certain people around here have...

Betts salary of $260k may have set him off, as last season he was paid $200k according to 3DN. He deserves a swack of promo money even if his play no longer justifies a raise, Willie, Brady and Zach are the 3 most recognizable faces on the team with Willie being the most vocal cheerleader for the franchise.

I am not opposed for us paying Willie what he deserves for one or two more seasons. He was the only one generating any sort of pressure up front last season... had he any sort of help on the line then I think his numbers would of been much better.

A legit DT and an actual second pass rusher ala JJ would do wonders for WJ and our D imo.

Why wouldn't we just presume that with O'Shea being in Toronto's sports scene from 96-13, he'd have had many opportunities to mingle with the likes of Wendel and Dougie?
