I thought Vaj and the Stamps were really good on their last drive moreso than we were bad. Most of the catches were contested.

Woodbey probably done for the year. I’d like to see Smith get reps in his place and another American DL to rotate in.

I think it's fair to say our DB's weren't in spots to make plays. Which is a schematic problem.

And again, the main job of the front against that particular QB needs to be keeping him in the pocket, letting him panic and then wrapping him up.

Honestly it was only ugly cause it was the Bombers and we want them to dominate. If it was between 2 other teams we’d be calling that a good entertaining game.

Yup..like get Reese on for a look..hes got the best get off on the team among dlineman

Definitely some things to clean up, tweak and hone but I loved the last drive, the play calling. You can tell a huge difference of having a proper OC this year co pared to Hogan.

It look d like we lost contain a few times and IMO our LB's as a whole were not good enough....

But all said and done we WIN.....

I’ve had a hard time getting excited for this season, this game got mr PUMPED. How many sleeps until Thursday???

Great second half. Ceresna……what a stud. Collaros was tidy. Brady O a beast as usual. LB’s were meh. Secondary needs to clean some stuff up, but a lot of calgarys catches were contested and nice grabs. All in all encouraging.

Yeah gotta be done for the year. Maybe carry another DB and never play kelly on D again.

The secondary really seemed lost without a guy like griffin as the dime.

Yeah. Kyrie had 1 real solid run stop 1 on 1 with the rb in the a gap. But Jones was running around tackling the back after yards gained all day. Not ideal.

Ceresna. 3 sacks. Wow.

Not the prettiest win but gutsy. Defence made some improvements in the 2nd half other than that last Stamps drive. Ceresna is the deal, rest of the D has to measure up because they can’t waste key sacks like they did on Stamps last drive.

Nice to see Zach have a solid, if unspectacular game.

I think we’ve been a little spoiled for the past several years. If we can’t get excited with a walk off win on the road in Calgary ( a place we’ve never won much at) over a team that beat us three times last year and had our number then I don’t know what to say. I’m that glad football is back and we’re going back home 1-0

I want them to put in another American DL just because I believe 7 DL is the way to go in general but they’re most likely to put Cam Allen on if he’s healthy. If that kept Kelly out of meaningful reps it wouldn’t be the worst thing I suppose.

They need the extra American DL. Gatkouth is like Bambi out there. Look what happened on the last drive when Ceresna pulled himself out. They need another guy who can play right now.

I'm not sure what happened but it felt like the first half to the 3 minute warning just flew by. And then the rest of the game just crawled.

VAJ falls to 7 and 4 against the bombers.

Yeah they need at least one more bigger guy, if Ceresna or Lawson go down in game, they’re screwed.

After the blueprint of 19/21, I don’t understand how it’s not a fundamental must to roster 7-8 DL.

Geez I'm watching the Recap highlights package and it might be a double whammy for Woodbey. Fairly significant injury and that RTP he took in the 1st half was a Grade 2 so he's probably gonna end up lighter in the pocketbook
