Tell Trevor Harris there's an immediate opening. :D

No thanks... He can stay right where he is for the next decade. *Insert Doc Holliday I'm In My Prime Meme*

brutal.  I hope this was Matty's choice and not some TSN bullshit.

Only bright side to this is that maybe we'll get more Lapo in the booth this year.

You want to talk about an org that coddles over-the-hill veterans, look at how TSN hangs onto Glenn Suitor...  And Barker has a voice that's fit for newspaper work.

If they cut lapo, I’m not listening to tsn this season.
Hate that they let matty go.

Added:
OL Tyler Elsbury, OL Bryaden Keim, DL Phillip Webb

Released:
OL Matt Kickel, OL Chris Walker

Meanwhile KR/RB Peyton Logan is added to 1-Game IR

All imports cut and signed.

Elsbury, 6’5 305. C/G, was basically the 6th ol, but played a good bit. Exceptional athleticism, 9.84/10 relative athletic score from his pro day. Would’ve been the top interior ol athlete in the nfl combine, exceptional 10 yard time.

Keim is 6’9 322 RT, very good athlete, not elite like elsbury but incredible size and length.

phillip Webb 6’5 265. Tremendous athleticism and 2 way edge. Blue chip prospect for sure

Keim and Webb have “late camp addition because they are legit NFL hopefuls” written all over them

100%. Two killers. Elsbury is very similar to Devin adams last year. Insane size and athleticism combo. Raw, but might be worth polishing. A centre with that kind of athleticism would be crazy.
Keim and Webb could steal a spot this year. Massive stir up for early camp.

I feel like this is a two fold move, 1, Lofton has been banged up and we don’t want a default of Randolph at rt, and 2 the ol as a whole and the fresh imp batch has under performed expectations.  From what I’ve seen, the dl has had a big advantage in play so far. Honestly I expected the ol to have the advantage.

Of all the people that could have left, Matty would not have been my top choice...

Matt Dunigan not returning to CFL on TSN: sources - 3DownNation

Wow I feel old... 25 years on TSN and I can still vividly remember him as a player.   Losing him is definitely the biggest hit on an already iffy panel.

I would cut Kate,  Milt,  Barker,  Muamba and find anyone with a slight bit of personality plus football knowledge. Once BLM retires from playing he'd make a good addition.  He was far more engaging then the few times they had a doofus like Henry Burris on air.

As much as everyone hates Suitor,  he is good when calling a non Riders game.    The newer PBP guys are both doing better as time goes on and outside of Marshall having an accent on a few words he's really good.

Sanchez comes off unlikeable but his football knowledge that he provides is light years better then Milt who states the obvious and offers very little insight.

I'm hoping that LaPolice is on tv far more if Matty is really gone.

Going to miss Matty.....I wonder why he's not returning...some other media??? or just retiring .....Kinda comes out of the blue

He's 64. Going back & forth between Toronto & Dallas the next 6 months every weekend probably doesn't have as much appeal as it used to. He also is having more issues related to the concussions he suffered as a player. Not surprising but still I'm sad to see him go. I think LaPo replaces him on the panel.

The only one I'd cut is Kate which means she'll be there the next 25 years.

Webb would seem to be perfect for the CFL's wider field and his quickness ought to allow him to adapt to the waggle and multiple offensive sets here. His bio says he should put on more muscle for the NFL but in the CFL, that would likely reduce his quickness. Looks a lot like Jackson Jeffcoat's style of player.
