In case anyone needed more proof of what a class act Brady O. is, he came out to my son's U13 A3 hockey final today (he is neighbors with one of the boys on the team) to watch the game, give the kids

  • I for one would like to see "Hawk" Tui Eli get in the starting lineup.

Definitely....Biggie would bring a wealth of experience for the newbies and would be an invaluable assistant....I say he sticks around for a very long time in some capacity....he luvs it in Bomberland

Plus ,hes got a lucrative "side" job........

Bighill has been a great player for us but he needs to retire. I agree it would be great to have him as a coach.

well...seing as he under contract for next yr...and will be rehabbing a knee injury that will take 10 months...minimum.... can see him doing the Mike Miller on the 6 game all yr, as he is on sideline coaching up the new breed

i thought he had another yr...guess not....well sign him on a cheap deal and sit it on the 6 game all yr....be the quality thing to do

With the restrictive front office cap, and the fact you can 6game/ public appearance pay guys out side of the player cap it would actually be extremely advantageous to have a guy like biggie as a “player” coach.

The early injection of Bryant and Randle early on, started this domino effect of players coming over to this organization and making history. Never did I think we'd ever land a Bighill, the guy has been arguably one of the most important players in team history. Throw him into a coaching capacity, we'd benefit for years to come.

Absolute beauty of an upload by Waders27 on his YouTube page. The 2003 LDC full game - which if I recall correctly is Milt torching Davin Bush all game.

Based on what Milt did to him that game, appropriate last name (i.e., Bush League). 🙂

Unfortunately, my mistake, this is not where Milt lights him up - but still an utter ass kicking all game.

Haven't seen any thing since this, which is probably good news. His go fund me succeeded in raising the money they were hoping for, plus a little more.

Yeah seems he's doing as well as can be expected.  He did this interview for a podcast a couple months after that  instagram post and gave an update on his health.

Here’s the time he ran all over the Riders.
In the top 5 fun games I’ve attended for sure.

30 km winds..nobody could do anything all game except Sellers, until Khari hit Stegall on a TD bomb to win it late in the 4th.

One of the very few games blink missed, it sounded bad right after the game on the coaches show too. Old dave though roberts tore his meniscus. Ended up being turf toe IIRC.

But man, sellers was like a dad playing his kids pop warner team. Soo fun to watch. It was especially glorious as they were trying to hype up Szarka into being sellers equal back then and it just wasn't close.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed American defensive end Jay Person to their practice roster.

The six-foot-two, 233-pound defender made 228 tackles, 56 tackles for loss, 27 sacks, nine forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and five knockdowns over 48 collegiate games at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He was a two-time AP All-American and was named the conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2022 and 2023.

Person most recently spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, appearing in all three preseason games and recording four total tackles. He signed with the team after spending the month of July on the practice roster of the Toronto Argonauts, acquiring his release to return to the NFL. He had previously signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent and was waived in mid-June.
