Speaking of kickoffs, @Stats Junkie when was the last time a team went a whole game without kicking off?

Unfortunately with the current state of the CFL stats page, no game stats are currently available beyond this season, and the CFL record book does not list the fewest kickoffs in a game (record for the most is 12 BTW). So unless I can find the game stats from a different site, that question will remain a mystery for the moment. I’ll see if Steve Daniel has any idea. I can say there have been a number of “only one kickoff in a game” situations just this year. I’ll keep digging, but I am not certain the answer will be easily found with the change in stats platforms. Boo-urns!

yup...right at about the 20 yard line...and was enough of a grab to adjust his helmet for him....score be damned he should have challenged it and us punch another one in...no room or place in football to be a "nice" guy....eff that

Most sensible Rider fans know the wins over BC/Winnipeg had nothing to do with Dickenson. But the loss in the Banjo Bowl, that’s where you see Dicky’s impact on the team. They just don’t care what happens because they know he won’t react or do anything. Even if the Riders do make the playoffs, it would be ludicrous to keep him around.

neither really had anything to do with your QB as well,  but I think the vibe is that he is something to build around.....not happening there....the fact you still need to weed out trash players isn't helping either....old habits slowly making their way back in....so that says the cancers are still there...but do agree on CD...he is god awful, as well as a few other of your coaches....OC in particular and whomever is your oline coach...thats a badly coached group and you can flat out see they get minial coaching on even the simplest concepts....also the shine on Shivers is gettiing dim.....dude is over rated in my opinion and doesnt seem to be able to cope/adjust

You yourself know how long it can take to build a culture. MOS began to see success in 2016, and obvious you are where you are now. Dickenson is going backwards, is obviously not the guy.

I disagree slightly on Dolegala, I don’t think you can make a definitive judgement off of four starts. I’m not saying he’s the answer by any means, but you certainly want to see more out of him. Dru Brown has shown well in his time, but I think it’s the same approach, you don’t know exactly what he is once he leaves Winnipeg.

I don't see the future here in Brown....Dolegala knock has always been touch and accuracy, and throws a weak deep ball....and locks into his guy way too much...I sure the picks will be coming in bunches soon. And could happen this week with sneaky ol Chris Jones

Culture takes a while, but you also need guys to start and initiate it, and the leaders in management and coaching I dont think know how...and the fact no player last game was ripping into guys for that stellar effort they gave is telling....Who is even a team leader there?....From looking at them it's hard to tell

Yea that’s a fair observation for sure. It looked like KSB was attempting to talk to some guys at the end of the game, but the defense had zero going for it. Zero fire there, zero. 

I find the narrative hilarious that because Dolegala is so tall, head contact with the hands must be intentional or somehow more egregious. To me, guys are used to having their hands up to knock down passes and against a QB who isn't a freak, those hands would go right over the QB's head.

You guys need to get rid of Marshall. That guy is a giant suck and I suspect a horrible leader. He is all trash talk when he makes his one play every few weeks, but shuts down completely when he is getting beat.

yeah...the quit was baffling to see....and the fact I sure the coach saw it...or better have, and didnt sit guys, or likely won't have the stones to bench guys this week for that either will just keep letting it fester. Also nobody visibly stepped up on the sideline and grabbed they boys by the shirt and shook em to life is a bad sign too.

In the LDC you could see ZC visibly agitated and yelling on sideline and WJ grabs him....tells him we got yer back basically and helps him to chill says a lot....and the fact right after the game ZC and a couple others held a quick impromtu speech in dressing room before any media access is also a sign of a team with leaders, and had an intense week of practice, and well...we saw the result...they did whatever they wanted on a team you would think that would be coming in with some bravado and a lil starch in their collars....and was the total opposite

it's because of how early in the route it was... they didn't show the entire play from snap to finish on the jumbo tron unfortunately. I didn't see the facemask either, until we watched the PVR later that night.

it’s pathetic that they still don’t have it working right. I’ve got some random ass casino page sports betting site that updates the stats pretty quick. 
 Some one should get fired for this debacle.
