Upper body. Neck or head. He was dressed in civvies & didn't look like he was hurt too badly. They may have kept him out just as a precaution.

It's incredible how well Buck and crew have developed Brown since his shaky first reps at the end of 2021. Since game 1 of 2022 when he came on for one set of downs and drove us into range he's looked like he's the real deal

I'm sure the comments from the start of this thread will be calm, rational, and well thought out - But that will be reading for tomorrow morning.

For now? Time for a beer. Two points and onto the next.

Cheers Mr P, enjoy the lols tomorrow

The added threat of Brown maybe running opened up Oliviera a ton as well.  Even though Brown didn't run much, teams are not playing those zone read-ish run plays we do as if Zach might pull it down.

I look forward to seeing the supplemental fines this week because I really think the guy who hit Zach deserves one.

Whole team battled back hard tonight. Ya we had some gaffes but coming back from 22 down with a backup QB is impressive no matter the opponent.

Now just gotta hope Zach is okay.

It's up for debate but I don't think the Bombers come back and win with ZC at QB tonight, just didn't look like it was going to be his night. That being said I hope everything checks out for him in the coming days.

Without even looking it up, you can tell Dru Brown is from California. Freakishly reminds me of Sunshine from Remember the Titans in his interviews, hah.

Cheers MO!🍻🍻

just watched an interview with Dru Brown on TSN. pretty calm & well spoken. Paid tribute to Zach saying he's done so much to help him develop. Brown also said that it's always something bad that happens when the guy ahead of you either goes down or is benched. He paid tribute to his receivers all making plays for him.

Yup...great interview...very well spoken humble kid

They said it on the broadcast, but I'll say it too, Dru Brown did a fantastic job of selling the run fakes all night. Opened himself up to be able to roll out and make throws down field, and then had the defence second guessing for the rest of the night which allowed Oliveira and Demski to eat up huge chunks of yard on the runs late in the game.

Of course TSN shows the highlights of Ford... But conveniently skipped the first two touchdowns of Dru Brown.

The flow of the comments are just what I imagined they would be before the game started. But the unintentional comedy is always good for a laugh, if not an eye roll.

Just a reminder that Edmonton has traditionally played teams tough for the first half this year and then wilt in the second, so we should not panic if the game is not an early blowout (he said knowing that advice is like spitting into the wind once the GDT gets going).
