Raise your hand if your greed and pettiness helped your former team's biggest rival end the league's longest drought a season later.

  • His trip to the bathroom lasted longer than his free agency.

  • I like having posters from other teams. I don't get why some of you get so butt hurt over it. Other teams have good players/seasons. It's ok to acknowledge it. DOesn't take anything away from our team

I could see Walker in a different green this year.

Looks like Ham RB Don Jackson is calling it a career.

No chance that the Alouettes are on the verge of folding. They won't have too much trouble finding a new owner at this point. The team is in a much better position now then the last time they were for sale. Attendance is up and league revenues are way up with gambling revenue extra TV revenue coming from the upcoming US TV deal. Lets not let our hatred for Ambrosie cloud our judgement. Thankfully the problem isn't with the business opportunity but rather with ownership. The team clearly works if it has solid ownership.

Walker looked like someone completely out of fucks to give the last couple seasons. He’d fit perfectly with Sask.

That can happen with an older player playing for a dumpster fire team. If i was him Id try and play for a team that's competitive.

Him looking like he doesn't give a **** has been a trend for a couple seasons now. I honestly don't see a competitive team taking him on.

Walker picked up the slack in the second half of last season after Lawler went down and as Cornelius improved his reading skills.  He surpassed both Wieneke and Bailey in receiving stats., so not bad for a guy who D.G.A.F. playing on a bad team.

Not even a little bit...... any criticism of Saskatchewan and their uber-Con elected officials is welcome anywhere, anytime, any place....

Sure...and we have a thread for doing just that in General Discussion.

The team works when it's winning double digit games each year and always hosting the east final. Without that I dunno how well it works.

Not bad, sure. For a (not too old) guy who at one point was unquestionably the best WR in the league, I’d think with motivation he’d do a lot more than pass Rasheed Bailey in stats.

Translation: Lawler is in, Walker is out.

Xfl ain't paying that much

It’s competitive for rookie free agents for sure. For cfl vets? Not even close. Though taxes and travel could factor in.  It’ll probably affect guys in Toronto and bc a lot more. The living expense being what it is.

XFL is great for showcasing talent for the NFL. Timing is perfect to get a camp invite. So, if you think you have NFL talent and measurables, then the XFL is a great route.

I wouldn't pencil in Lawler as a lock to return just yet.  They've been saying the same thing for a few weeks now and he's no closer to signing a new deal so it looks like he wants to see what other offers are out there.

That's a big deal.

Yep, I have to think it pretty much ends any speculation Demski follows Harris to the Argos.  Can't see them paying both guys at  #1 National receiver rate.

That was a silly line of thought, anyway.

Honestly, I think so few receivers have signed that Walters and Demski are struggling to find the right rate. Gittens signing may seal the Demski signing. Fingers crossed.

Gittens must have got a ton, I hope we're not using him as a template.

I don't think I really expected MBT to move on, so doesn't move the needle for me much.

Really just Harris and Evans left for "starters" for Sask and Montreal to sign.

Gittens signing in TO means the market is WIDE OPEN for Demski, should he choose to go that route....

But will the Argos also go after Larry and Moe as well after signing Kurleigh?

Can't forget Faj.....becoming plan Number UNO as every hour passes in saskabush  heh heh

I wonder what gittens got. Could drive the price up for demski.
I like seeing guys resign it’s good for the league.
I think lawler will bolt unless edm gets a good qb.
