February 17, 20232 yr (Beating a joke to death) But pump the brakes, Trevor Harris is playing some of the best football of his life.

Walters suggested they are looking for a Strevy-style rushing QB short yardage specialist for the #3 QB spot. Who might be on our neg list or otherwise that fits that bill, anyone know? This year, with the new rule that teams must dress 3 QBs each game I could see some formations where we line up 2 QBs. That'll be fun!

February 17, 20232 yr 11 minutes ago, TrueBlue4ever said: Not sure I totally buy Farhan’s “belief”. Bailey was expendable here once we got Lawler signed and Schoen did not get an NFL bite. Bailey committed to free agency knowing he was not a priority here, and we heard crickets for a week, which suggests that the other teams saw what Walters saw, that Bailey is a supplemental piece and not a number one receiver (and his career stats back up that assertion, IMO). I don’t buy that he left heaps of money and a higher profile role as a prime target receiver on another team to come back here as the 4th option in the progressions. My “belief” is that he did not get any great offers, and teams were not prepared to pay close to his $130,000 salary from last year for a 35-40 yards a game average third option American receiver. So he chose the best option which was to come back where he was comfortable and knew the system, and earn what he could and hope for bonus playoff cash. But a great depth signing if we got him for less than 6 figures. you're entitled to that.......opinion?.. Dude got just under 800 yards after a slow start...and 9 tds...and was key in other areas...3 guys had more receiving td's than him....ironically 2 of em were Bombers taking away more potential td's for him....other teams would have loved to have that

Yep. the latest quote from Sheed is just as good: I'm so f**king happy for this signing. I don't know where he fits in wth our receiving core looking the way it does but I'm so glad he's back.
February 17, 20232 yr hence one of the reasons I knew he wouldnt be gone....and he is a true blood and guts guy for his brothers and team...we have a room full of them He's a heart and soul guy....you dont let that walk out your door cause it's infectious....and you know damn well his teamates are elated for him...and the "team" 2 minutes ago, bigg jay said: Yep. the latest quote from Sheed is just as good: I'm so f**king happy for this signing. Ellingson missed half the season so it wasn't too much of an issue last year.
February 17, 20232 yr Seriously though, that receiving corps..... Collaros right now...... Edited February 17, 20232 yr by Bubba Zanetti
February 17, 20232 yr ZC must just be grinning ear to ear Same with BradyO.....He's gonna have so much room to work in now.....and how he punishes defenders he may be flattening many a db this yr in the second level
February 17, 20232 yr Depth and more depth.....plus one helluva blocker....gawd damn I luv it....This receiving corps is going to give the opposition fits.....I just have to go back to some of those passes Sheed picked off the top of his boots and extended drives....He belongs here with Zack and the guys ...I am as glad as he is to see him continue his career here....You the man Mr. Bailey ....true blue to the bone
February 17, 20232 yr I hope in 15 years, Bailey is still with the club somehow as our very own Pinball type guy.
