Stanback and that's about it.  The rest are Bombers, Lawler.  I don't think any defensive players having a big enough season and if they were they'd be on Collaros' team.

In the past 15 MOP awards QB’s have won 10 times. The last two RB’s to win are Cornish in 2013 and Pringle in 1998. Preference appears to be qb’s. 
 

 

I just don't see how it isn't collaros at this point. No other qb has done what he has and  the Bombers record vs. What the Als record is to me doesn't put Stanback ahead.

Yeah I don't know what other QB's would have to do in the next 2 weeks to get close.  Most teams probably won't have their QB's win their MOP for their team.

I'd say right now:

BC- Burnham

EDM- Irrelevant, maybe Wilder

CGY- Carey, maybe Jorden

SSK- Fajardo, slim pickings

OTT- Dedmon

HAM- No real candidates, maybe Masoli but he will only have played a little more than half the season.

TOR- MBT or McCoil

MTL- Stanback

In all honesty, the Als played a good, tough game, considering their talent level. I thought the Bombers found them a tougher opponent than the Argos who beat them early in the season. The Argos played sort of Ok, but the Bombers beat themselves.

Dedmon doesn't have a chance IMO since he's barely got any yards from scrimmage.  The way a kick returner wins MOP is by dominating on O too.

Montreal played well. I keep on saying this though. Our team is so physical. We’ll make you pay for every yard gained. By the time the fourth quarter rolls around they’re not only physically beat, but mentally beat too. That’s why we allow so few points in the second half, and in the fourth quarter in particular.

Funny, cuz I see the 1 in the "L" column on every 2021 CFL Standings page where the Bombers are concerned.

They look to be counting it.

I think Montreal will be better this week. Harris will have more of the playbook and will have worked with his receivers for an extra week. He missed a couple of easy ones, including the Bighill pick that turned the game in our favour.

based on this list it's pretty obviously Collaros vs Stanback... with Collaros winning it in a landslide... don't see there being anyone else in contention...

What's the exchange rate on American mouth talkin checks/cheques? 

Does anyone know how much game time elapsed between the last time the Bombers trailed in a game and the second quarter on Saturday?  Seems like eons.

Could also be that I haven't feared a loss in a very long time.
