He’s still afraid of that end zone...

Has anyone seen the salary numbers for the guys we've signed? Or the guys that we kept either? Only one I've heard was Bighill, but it would be interesting to see what we're spending.

What is bighill worth again?

Yeah 250,000. Was the highest paid defensive player until a few days ago. Even though I'm not a fan of spending the big bucks often, I liked this signing at the time. Now that other teams have spent so much on players I doubt will have the same impact, I like it even more.

For a proven linebacker coming off the DPOY,easy money

If you were to ask which 3 defensive players, going into Free Agency, were going to be highly sought after and the best available, you would probably name Willie Jefferson, Micah Johnson and Adam Bighill.

We got 2 of them.

Impressive.

Jeff Hamilton reports Jefferson got north of $200 grand.

Demski made $148 last season and was asking upwards of $180. Hamilton believes he receive somewhere between the two numbers.

Regarding cfl receivers in the NFL, Williams-Lambert would would look good in the role we had Thompkins in.

As part of the settlement of his grievance, the Riders retain the rights of JWL for 2019.

Brandon Zylstra

Duke Williams

Marken Michel

Chris Matthews

Diontae Spencer

Bryant Mitchell

these are better options

Everyone of these receivers is going to expect a $200,000+ contract on return, some likely to be disappointed.

Were probably best off grooming the Canadian receivers we already have. We're in pretty good shape there.

Seeing that list of receivers gives me hope that we can still get a really good player (and better than some guys that have already signed) before the season starts. Maybe Walters was onto something

Good thing Walters has that $200000+ he was offering Ellingson and others in his pocket.

Yes sir boys - we’ve got the market cornered on whoever shakes loose from the NFL - just think of the possibilities...

So the question I have is, who's most likely to shake loose prior to the season starting?

Possibility that nobody shakes loose...😪

That seems really expensive, doesn't it? or is that just me.

For Demski? Always a premium for NIs and he does produce at a reasonable pace so while it might be higher than ideal it's not crazy town numbers.

All of them? Honestly I'd be shocked if Matthews got much of a chance considering he's been there done that already and had to come back to the CFL once.

Of the receivers listed that we could show interest in, I'd  go with Mathews,Zylstra and Michel in that order...The Duke hanging right in there at 4....Anyone of those guys gives us the receiver we always needed to stretch the field...Paying a premium for anyone of these guys services is a given considering some of the free agent signings in the receiver department....We were prepared to go deep into the vault for Walker so these guys won't be any different....This team is at a point where you go all out or go home

Michel seems the most likely to me. I was pretty surprised he got a shot in the first place.

Willie didn't come cheap, we offered him a contract and he signed for more with you guys

and yet it was suggested by Jefferson that the Bombers weren't the biggest contract he was offered...

According to the press conference and Bauming Jefferson left money on the table from other teams to sign with the Bombers
