Going to try going with the two threads again for the off season.    One for Bomber news, one for CFL news.   These threads should be used for general / minor day to day news, tweets, etc.  A catch all for tidbits that people want to share to keep everyone up to date on the goings and comings of the league.

Lankford was a Tier 2 scapegoat. Easily replaced. 

Nichols, Lapo, MOS, Walters are all Tier 1 scapegoats. We still have them.

Yeah, and the fact is the current regime is only responsible for 5 years of it (roughly 18% of the drought). It is not at all responsible for the remaining and far larger percentage.

Basically the entire offense is back.  We have a bunch of young Canadians at receiver who took a step last year and will take another one.  I'm sure they'll add a couple imports.  Don't fret about interior OL.

I want to say that we have a better chance at playoff money, but the East is so bad that the Argos have the opportunity to go just as far as we can.

I don't see any appeal in playing for the Riders (of course I never will).

That's true but who is throwing him the ball in Toronto?... Normally I wouldn't use Nichols as a "selling feature" but in this case they have a history together... so that always helps...

I like this play by Walters on Walker.....take a hard stance on the $$$ figure. If the guy comes for the right reasons, great. If not, move on to Plan B.

I think that if he finishes his world tour and finds that the money he's looking for just isn't there, then we have a shot.  It appears he's betting that as the pool of players goes down, his stock rises.  Good luck with that.

Winston Rose is pretty bad. Gets a lot of picks because he gets targeted a LOT. 

I would be happy with Roosevelt. Yes, he's gotten dinged up a bit but some of the catches he has made not that long ago were outstanding. Holley would be a distant second and we can't wait around hoping that Zylstra will shake loose. If somehow he does and we already have Roosevelt or such, he can be given a chance to displace them.
