Sorry but I don't like the total silence coming out of Bomberville, but that's just me; I like action and news  like all of you.  Yes we've extended a contract or two and we are distributing the year-end money before the 2018 salary cap  comes in.

But what are the deep thinkers in our organization planning to do?

 I hope they are not thinking status quo; that never seems to work out well. Unless we are dedicated to making sharp improvements here and there, I believe we atrophy from last year.  

After the 2017 NFL cuts were made did we bring in any linebackers for a sniff? I saw other prospects up here but maybe I missed something.

We have got to fix what's broken and I think somehow management must know more than we do ... we are good prognosticators with our comments on this site but I would like management to show us up. 

We are not hearing a lot of news out of the Calgary and Edmonton football clubs so maybe our Blue Bombers are an elite club now (as we join those two in their silence). 

But man I hate twiddling my thumbs as I wait to see what our local gurus are going to do. No news is bad news, say the bored ...  Well at least were not coming off seasons like Ottawa Hamilton and Montréal had.

So maybe I should be grateful for our club and its management.

I can't see him getting re-signed unless he's willing to take a reduced salary. His 2017 season pretty pedestrian, especially later on when he needed to step up. It's a damned shame because he's been a personal favourite of mine for ages.

Isn't he a free agent? If so I doubt they'll bring him back.

I love Denny and I want him to retire as a Bombers player. Not sure he guts in the teams plans this year, so I'm curious if he tries to stick elsewhere...

I think its possible they use Morgan as the backup safety to Loffler and look at starting Derk Jones at field corner with Kaleb Branning as the backup.

You may want to look at how he played when they weren’t starting a fake MLB - a lot of what happened this year was not on Loffler.

I cant wait until FA. I hate trying to speculate and look into who id love the bombers to sign because it rarely pans out that way. I just want to sit back and enjoy the ride with no expectations this year.

For a while i thought we probably wernt going to sign anyone. But the ridiculous amount of talent that is going to be available this year probably means that we will be able to sign guys without having to overpay due to lots of supply meeting the demand. One year contracts turned out to be a pretty good thing for thd league it seems

For receivers I would love to go after:

Davaris Daneils. Has good size, hands and some speed.
Luke Tasker: he does not drop anything and is basically an upgraded Denmark.
Devier Posey: Looked good as a second option to SJ and I think is ready for the breakout year. Size, SPEED to burn.
AND my soft spot pick is bring back
Corey Watson as a second/third Nat WR, special teams player and one of the best blocking tight ends there is.

Geoff Gray was interviewed today on 1290 radio- doesn't sound likely to be here any time soon.

or he could be here next season..  it really depends on how well this next camp and pre-season goes.   Him getting bounced twice though, doesn't make me very confident of his staying power down south..
