I don't mind the aardvark.. he's obviously a good decent guy for sure but yeah.... don't need to educate ppl on this site that Gray Is signed by the Packers.  It's just not really necessary and honestly I'm at the point where I really don't give a **** about the riders and what they do. Not sure why the riders pop up so often here. Jones is such a clownshow that it's just best to ignore them Boyz to the west.

There is literally no world where that's how this works.

Gray is our draft pick. He is not under contract to us. We all know this and your effort to try and come off as the bringer of facts just comes across as being an outright ****. That may fly at the Extra Point, because there are certain measures in place to make sure that you can't be called out on nonsense like this. It doesn't fly here.

There is a certain first round player that is not under contract to us yet. His availability is irrelevant. He is our first round pick and he is not signed by us. That is what you call facts Aards...not some convoluted reach around to try make Walters look better. We all know he is in the NFL. However, if we never get him under contract then Walters will have effectively wasted a first round pick. Therefore, saying we have all our draft picks signed is incorrect. We don't, and the merit of picking Gray at 8 will depend on whether he comes back or not.

Allow me to re-phrase my earlier post for the pedantic newcomer...

The Winnipeg Bombers have now signed all of their 2017 draft picks with the exception of Geoff Gray.  Gray is currently under contract with the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League thus making him ineligible to be signed by Kyle Walters, General Manager of the aforementioned Blue Bombers.

Yet you're backing Mike for some reason? 

Unless you haven't heard the Bombers purposely drafted Gray in the first round knowing he would not be here for a couple years as they feel he could develop in the states without having to pay him first round money.
