Looks like everyone finally agrees on what Joe Mack's legacy will be.

Could easily make the argument that Foster has flatlined and Etienne is the one with upside... but I'd rather run headfirst into a wall than attempt to argue with you so we'll just leave it at that.

My real concern in all this is that we just gave away a 2nd round pick that could have been packaged for a QB.  Now really we only have the 2nd pick overall to offer... or Muamba - hopefully not both...
 
We started shopping Hall for a 2nd round pick and a neg list player... we ended up paying more than we got - whether Hall is a rental or not.

I guess all I am saying is that Pencer did not look out of place - our whole line had a tough time at different points.  You can't say Greaves or Sorenson were getting any push.  Just don't think its worth benching him especially with the ratio mess.

I wouldn't totally lay this on Burke... DelMonaco appears to have some influence - both have to take blame for this ridiculous move.

Pretty sure you forfeit your contract if you resign... as opposed to getting paid not to coach.  Not much of a decision there

So it will basically be that once you set your protected list you can't make trades, not an all out moratorium on player movement between the trade deadline and expansion draft as some have suggested.

I think Mitchell is the better fit in Calgary. Tate is a talented guy but he'd never co-exist with BLM & would be a distraction with his unhappiness. Glenn is an easy going guy & doesn't make waves. I think at the end of the day, the Stamps protect Mitchell & if none of their qbs are taken by Ottawa then trade Drew Tate. Just my gut feeling.

I don't get why they have to start both new tackles. Why not put Pencer at RT, Kowalczuk at guard, and Paliwoda as the 6th OL? Surely it would be better to start the guys who have been here all year and put a new guy in as the 6th OL rather than a starting tackle?

I like this move.  Like what he has done so far, but this team is now pretty much all his.  With guys he has either signed to extensions, traded for, or drafted.  They need to make the playoffs within the time frame of this extension.

He's just doing it to troll us and Elliott, Elliott must of said something that really ticked him off.
