Be wary of the new Subway numbered sub system, bought 3 12" chicken subs in Canmore and it came out to $60 with mandatory tip! On the way back, we ordered one "build it yourself" chicken sub with the same components and it came out around $15 with mandatory tip. In some of these fast food places it sure seems they're intentionally trying to obscure pricing from the product ordered. I think it's a symptom of people paying with plastic and often not even paying attention to the cost of their purchase, cause it doesn't register as strongly as paying with cash.
Was the second sub at the same location? I wonder if there is just a premium for being in Canmore?

There's a difference between abortion and teaching gender diversity tho.
One should definitely involve women since it's their body not mine.
As for the gender diversity stuff? Umm, sometimes it's not ok to play along. People are identifying as cats now, if I said I identify as a mouse and you are bullying me, that's nucking Futs right. But that's what's gonna happen until ppl wake up and realize mental illness isn't a nucking game. I grew up with a few friends who are no longer around because one year Michael would be Michelle and then a few years later he'd be Michael and then Michelle and then Michael hung himself. It's not ok to play along
First off, identifying as a cat has nothing to do with gender, so playing along with that is dumb. Second, I don't know that I believe that's actually a thing... it wouldn't surprise me if that was something that someone came up with as the "big scary extreme" to scare people into not accepting true gender diversity at all because they just don't want to.

He's reviled by a few on here, but he is generally considered a Saint by most. He single-handedly saved the Blue Bomber organization, respected among his peers, started so many initiatives for cancer care. And probably one of the greatest presidents and COOs of any organization.
Surprised there isn't a statute of him at IG field.
If I remember correctly, he saved the Bombers by being very fiscally responsible. After they were on better footing though, the cheapness handcuffed the team a bit and that's when people turned on him.
Agreed that he did a bunch of good, but may have overstayed it.

The job was running a professional football team. Over and over again people in that position of president who have no idea how a professional football team should operate fail.
Add Cui to the list.
Cui was handed the mess and wasn't given the opportunity to even try to fix it. He started the season with some good marketing to get people in the seats, but there's only so much you can do from a marketing perspective when the team is so bad that fans are wearing paper bags on their heads.
If he had hired Jones, then 100% I would agree with you, but the fact that the board signed that contract before hiring Cui, I can't blame him for anything that is wrong with the team right now. Agreed with others that I felt that he was like Doman in BC.
Was he good at his job? Who knows, maybe he was, maybe he wasn't, but we'll never know because the team on the field is so bad that nobody can market it and create a good game day experience successfully.

Jones can take this role too!!
Sorry to hear this... I thought he was doing a good job at the beginning of the season to try and create some excitement around the team. The fact that the GM and Head Coach have tanked the team is definitely not on him. I feel like Cui and Jones probably butted heads and Jones won out by being tighter with the board.

Oshea said he was told it wasn't a penalty because the defender tried to brace himself from landing on Zach.
Contact with the QBs head when he's the one who caused it by ducking into the contact has been called before, so I don't buy that excuse from the offical/command centre.

At 1:46 of the highlight video from last night, Ealy was over 5 yards away as Collaros was on his way down and in a very vulnerable position. Ealy had plenty of room to change direction to avoid the contact. On top of that Collaros' head was the 1st point of contact. Whether it was malicious or not (and I don't believe that it was), that should be called RTP every time.

If the contact at 3:20 of this video is roughing the passer:
then what Ealy did to Collaros, mostly landing on his head, is most definitely roughing the passer... regardless of when it happened (ie. before or after Collaros let go of the ball), it was 100% contact with the head in an avoidable situation because if his knee had touched the ground, he was down by contact, so there was no reason for Ealy to even touch him, nevermind fall on his head.

Even Suitor mentioned it ,how well Brown sold the play action.....I dunno guys ,what did tou see ,that ZC doesn't do.?
What I saw was him doing the handoff while standing right up against the runner and tucking the ball in really close to make it harder for the defenders to see who has it. I find that Zach and a lot of other QBs for that matter don't get in quite as close to the runner and don't disguise it quite as well.
-
They said it on the broadcast, but I'll say it too, Dru Brown did a fantastic job of selling the run fakes all night. Opened himself up to be able to roll out and make throws down field, and then had the defence second guessing for the rest of the night which allowed Oliveira and Demski to eat up huge chunks of yard on the runs late in the game.

Holding on Jeffcoat?!?

Between the Lawler no catch call and that not being roughing the passers, it's pretty obvious what the league wants to have happen.

In what world is that not a hit to the QBs head? And how the hell do the commentators not even see that?

The part I don't get is why gender identity keeps being associated with sex and sexuality. They are completely different things. Just because the word sex is used in place of gender in a lot of places, people think that teaching kids about gender identity is in some way exposing them to sex. Kids are aware that there are genders (male and female) from a very young age... they may not know all of the physical differences there, but that's not what gender identity is about anyway, so why would it be wrong to teach to a kid in grade 2?
People need to stop confusing teaching gender identity with teaching sexual education because they are barely even in the same realm.

Uh-oh for VAJ. The knee brace was the beginning of the end for Fajardo.
Wait, Fajardo had a knee brace? Why didn't anyone say anything about that?

So just expand the roster size from mid August till the playoffs in mid October or even right into the Grey Cup ... this would nab the "Gray"s ... special rules will make sure we are still finding that talent ... further, with high priced returning talent, you can get in to the bidding war because there are only 6 or 7 weeks to pay for, not 18 weeks ... the big cost is sliced by two thirds ... every body is talking about budget and that will help the cap ... especially if highly paid stars are sitting on the injury list ... that kind of evens out the unlucky injury situation
And then you work the returning players salary for the balance of the season ... then in the spring you do what you got to do
The point isn't the timing of the roster size expansion with relation to the Grey Cup, it's about the timing in relation to the NFL training camp. If you move the roster size change earlier, nothing happens because the guys waiting for their shot in the NFL haven't had it yet and won't come North until they do.

I find some conveniently downplay/ignore who the aggressor was that started this whole thing. The only response I here when directly pressing them on this is oh this war has been going on well before Russia took the offensive here.
Okay, and?
Yeah, the many other times that Russia was the aggressor. Have never heard of any point when Ukraine has done anything in the past to provoke Russia in any way.

Apparently Jackson is the backup long snapper, so that is likely the motivation for having him in the lineup. Doesn't explain Burtenshaw though.

Apparently you've gotta protect the quarterbacks... I heard the announcer say it a few times...
