Apparently there was a fibre cut to the PSAP in Brandon which caused the outage.

In the Winnipeg-Ottawa game, he said Dru Brown while referring to Jake Meier on multiple occasions, along with a number of other mistakes like that throughout the game. It was really bad, on top of his normal suckage.

There was a hint from Darren Cameron on the Handled Internally podcast yesterday that Wade is cooking something up for season ticket members. No details available but it was mentioned around the 9 minute mark of the podcast.

I don't think the team was limiting anything, Thorne walked away before he even knew what opportunity might be there for him.

Rogers seems to hate the CFL (based on the reporting that I've seen on SportsNet in the past), so I would question if they would ever be interested in the broadcast rights anyway. TSN is really the only game in town unless either CBC decides to take up sports broadcasting again or one of the streaming platforms comes knocking because they want to get into it like Prime did with the NHL.

One thing in the article made it sound like he got a job coaching QBs at his old college. I'm guessing that's the reason for the odd timing of his retirement.

Pretty sure they talked about Chris Schultz quite extensively because he passed away between seasons. They also still talk about him sometimes when they are talking about Purolator Tackle Hunger.

I read it more as they haven't talked to the rest of the coaching staff yet and he wasn't going to say someone isn't going to be back without having told them to their face beforehand.

That was kinda my point originally, as much as their analytics are saying that the changes will add 60 TD per season, that's less than a TD per game (5.185 points per game), but they didn't take into account the number of field goals that won't be scored, so overall scoring will go down. Even more if you take out missed field goal touchdowns as you suggest. I think they are using the increase in TDs as a way to try and justify the changes they wanted to make anyway, but they didn't actually do the math. Sure, 60 TDs sounds impressive, but when you break it down per game, the argument falls apart.
