Lifted from a Forbes article this morning KEY FACTS The Trump campaign set expectations high for the rally, announcing that they had received more than a million ticket requests, despite the venue, the BOK Center, seating just 19,200. Anticipating high turnout that would exceed that capacity, the campaign planned a second, outdoor speech to address the crowd in the overflow section. But those hopes quickly evaporated on the evening of the rally, with reporters tweeting photos of the rally showing huge swaths of empty seats in the stadium. The campaign ended up cancelling the second speech to the overflow section, with Communications Director Tim Murtaugh blaming the low turnout on the media and protesters, who he claimed blocked access to the entrance despite reports that nobody was turned away from the rally. Andrew Little, the Public Information Officer for the Tulsa Fire Department, confirmed to Forbes on Sunday that a tally taken by the fire marshal clocked the turnout at just under 6,200 people, far fewer attendees than the campaign expected.

It was Trump’s organizer Brad Parscale. The media did not create the story, he did. Just because the media reports it does not put it on them when the numbers come out low. It’s on the Trump team. Sounds like the Trump campaign may of been duped into thinking the arena would be sold out, and that they had a million ticket requests, might need a new campaign manager there Trumpy.

That's a broad brush stroke - it's very possible to be religious and believe fully in science and medicine as well.

In the reddest of red states the GOP may finally see that Trump is finished only way to try to win the election will be voter suppression.

This is the USA, and it always has been. Maybe not the majority, but pretty close to it. And it is not any different than it has been, it’s just more overt than ever before and being called out more than ever before. “Ugly American” exists for a reason, and I have very little respect for the entire country any more. Maybe this next election will soften my views, but I’m pretty disgusted with the country as a whole right now (and I do have a number of individual American friends).

TB shouldn't be a hub city

There was a 15 year stretch give or take where I went to nearly every training camp. Always took the week off from work and went everyday. In true Winnipeg fashion ive sat through +30 weather one year, and sleet the next lol. Loved just sitting with the old-timers and talking football. So many training camp stars that seemed destined for greatness only to fade away. I remember watching Ramonce Taylor one year and was sure he was the next superstar. Lots of memories but a couple stand out for me. Watching Milt, year after year, embarrass whichever hot shot DB they put across from him in 1 on 1's lol. That and watching Charles Roberts sitting on his helmet chatting with Milt and the other players during stretching drills lol. The dude was amazing and put next to zero effort into his conditioning. Man, if he had worked half as hard as Milt did during is career, we would be talking about him as the greatest CFL RB of all time. No doubt in my mind. Shame really.

I remain confident that there will be a 2020 season and that the league will surivive. Its too much a part of the Canadian indentity to be allowed to fold.

Sorry TUP. Not here to argue with you or anyone. Just saying how I feel. Two weeks ago any large gathering would have been described here as Covidiots & severely chastized. Now, with all the demonstrations it's somehow "more important" & worth it... as in risking multi super spreader events. As long as the covidiots are demonstrators then it seems acceptable. I & millions like me are crossing the road the other way. As in **** it.
