  1. BC has an excellent offense and a pretty poor D.

  3. The only QB's they've held under 25 points are Tre Ford, Montreal's 3rd and 4th stringers, Crum and Vernon Adams the past 3 weeks.

  5. be nice if we signed a current situation signing and inserted said signing...they are out there but when you have the mindset "we good" and the belief that things will just work...cause they so happened to do so 4...5 yrs ago.well you get a less than stellar roster that can compete...but not finish the deal

  6. If the CFL were to merge with the UFL, it would be within 2 years that both leagues completely fold for good.

  7. This is a really confusing statement. So do you agree with Goalie? The first part makes it seem like you don't....but then you go on and make all the points as to why the merge wouldn't really work.

  9. I would argue that teams that are dynasties are also something leagues want as well. It allows fans to rally around other teams in their hatred of the best. If you around when the Eskimos won 5 Grey Cups in a row you'll know what I mean.

  11. From Our Man Tait, regarding absences at today's practice.... FYI: Guard Pat Neufeld was at practice on Monday but did not participate. O’Shea called it a ‘vet card’. Micah Vanterpool worked in his place between Chris Kolankowski and Kendall Randolph. CB Demerio Houston was absent, but excused, while CB Jamal Parker, Jr. worked in his spot.

  16. As a CFL fan I'd have zero interest in watching the Grey Cup champion vs some American UFL team. Nobody would care. The CFL could do American expansion like back in the day. The only benefit would be once the American teams fold , the stores would have rock bottom low prices on Winter jackets. I fondly remember seeing lots of cheap people wearing Gold Miners jackets around town.

  17. I always thought it would be neat if they could convince some of these other leagues to adopt 3 down football. Like... don't merge with the UFL but have them adopt CFL rules and that opens up for some exhibition games or some sort of tournament like Soccer does.

  19. Just don’t see the UFL as an option. It just doesn’t make sense. UFL is worse than the CFL. It’s really bad. Merge with them and that’s the end of football in Canada. Ppl talk about revenue. UFL don’t get any. It’s losing money. And has since it started. I mean why not wait till the UFL folds and then do American expansion but to places who actually drew crowds. So St. Louis would be one for sure. CFL would get 40k there every game probably. uFl is owned 50 percent by Fox and 50 percent by the rock and ex Wife so I’m not even sure how you merge there. You dont. Fox wouldn’t want the CFL. I mean it’s not gonna happen. Hey guys we need interest and to grow the UFL here in America. I know let’s merge with a league in another country. Cuz that will bring viewers to fox for sure. Ppl can’t wait to see the Saskatchewan rough riders vs the Birmingham stallions followed by Memphis vs Winnipeg in the murder capital per capita bowl.

  21. Well, just remember that's your opinion. For what it's worth. One thing about you. If you don't like something, you just write it off saying nobody cares when you know you're wrong. So, your opinion is pretty marginalized. As far as the UFL starting too early, that league really wants to be a devlopmental league of the NFL. So, there's no way the UFL wants to go past NFL training camps & into the pre season. They want to start early the week after the Super Bowl because they can go to 20 cities in the Sun Belt. They don't care about Kansas City, Denver or Cleveland in February. They want things wrapped up in July. Not November. So, early season with limited games. You think this new billionaire sugar daddy wants to pay his players big money?

  24. Isn’t that what every sports league wants. No real favourites but a bunch of teams who could win?

  25. Just put him on the FatBoi diet and he'll be tiptoeing up to the play in no time! Yeah i think they just enter the height/weight for Williams twice (both listed as 6'1, 190). Most places have him listed at 6 or 6'1 and around 255.

  26. Imo, the OL is beyond just needing to gel. It needs more fresh blood. Vanterpool would go a long way, but we have too many liabilities 1on1 on the line today. The wr core isn't fringe anymore, imo. They need to continue what they've been doing, and if they can step up furthe,r that would be great. We either need to give up on DL pressure, or relegate Thomas to the end roster Canadian he is. I think we all know which of those is more likely. We don't need much from the Lbers, it would be great if they stay healthy, and if Jones could do a better job of getting back, but it isn't make or break. The DBs, yeah, and from what they've shown, I think they will continue in the right direction. We need to pray that the offence can do exactly what it did vs Hamilton, in every single remaining game this year. By hook or by crook, not much less will do. If the O can do what it did to hamilton in every game remaining, and the secondary continues to do what it's been doing, and we don't get blitz happy, we have a much better chance than we deserve based on this year. IF we had a big addition by subtraction type injury, (thomas, kola etc) and made the right replacement, that would be a tremendous boost. 90% of our shot lies in Zachs hands. If he can do what he did to hamilton, straight beating their rush with decision making and getting the ball out, in 2 step drops, we could beat any one in any game.
